What to expect
Departing Glasgow, your tour begins with a short drive to the Kelpies, two huge horse sculptures celebrating Scotland’s working horses and engineering history.
Next, visit Midhope Castle, known to Outlander fans as Lallybroch, Jamie Fraser’s family home. Walk around the grounds, enjoy the peaceful setting, and take photos of this famous filming location. While you cannot enter the castle, you can still visit the gates of Lallybroch.
Continue to Stirling Castle, one of Scotland’s most famous castles. Explore its grand rooms, enjoy the views, and learn about Scotland’s royal history.
Later, head to Balloch on the shores of Loch Lomond. Take a walk by the loch or join an optional cruise before returning to Glasgow.
