Iriomote Island: Yubu Island Sightseeing & Customizable 1-Day Experience (SUP or Canoe/Snorkeling/Canyoning)

The trip with this guide was great. You can tell from the photos. The guide we had on Mangrove Island was also amazing. I don't know her name, but she was a woman... If I hadn't found my Ace Pro that I dropped there, it would have been the worst trip ever, but luckily I found it after some twists and turns. The visibility in the mangrove river isn't great, and the river isn't without currents, so if you drop something, you might not be able to find it. It would be good if the guide brought extra masks, or if individuals brought their own masks.

Such a great day on the Yubu Island and kayak in the Mangroves tour. Kakera was a friendly and informative guide and prepared everything really well. I'd definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iriomote.

I joined this snorkeling + Yubu Island day tour today. In the morning, the snorkeling session was led by a French staff member named Matthew. His English was excellent, and he explained everything in great detail and was very attentive. In the afternoon, the tour was led by a Japanese staff member named Kono. He was very funny and his English was quite good. He also worked hard to explain everything in detail. It was a very satisfying and happy day.

The weather wasn't great so we switched to mangrove canoeing. The staff were all friendly, kind, and had lovely smiles. Even though there was a language barrier, they still tried their best to let you know what was going on 😂. The weather changes a lot on Iriomote Island, so please bring a towel, change of clothes, and a light jacket. It might suddenly drizzle and then be sunny again when you go to Yubu Island.

The itinerary is very good. If you need to go back and forth to Ishigaki Island on the same day, there is enough time. You will gather at the Iriomote Pier. In the morning, you will go to the mangrove canoe first. At noon, you will take a buffalo cart to Yubu Island to visit the botanical garden. The whole process was very smooth. All the attractions are very beautiful. The tour guide Kono introduced each attraction in detail. He is also very friendly. He has been taking good care of all our group members and will keep taking pictures for us. It was a satisfying day. Thank you Kono for giving us a pleasant experience

The experience was very exciting. They care of everything from pick up at the port to making time for lunch and drop-off back at the port. The water buffalo cart ride to Yubu island was worth it enough, but the canoe trip through the mangrove forest was amazing too! Our tour guide was very friendly and ensured we had a positive experience! Very fun!

We had a nice and friendly tour guide Matsuko to lead our tour throughout a day! We spent around 2 hours to explore the mangrove by travelling in a kayak and took 1 hour to visit the Yubu island with interesting water buffalo cart rides experience! I will recommend you to join this activity if you love outdoor activities and adventures.

I highly recommend this canyoning activity. Our guide was very dedicated, communicated with us diligently and kindly, and also recommended some delicious restaurants. My daughter is a bit timid, and Mr. Jun took very careful care of her throughout the entire activity, allowing her to have a lot of fun. Thank you very much, Mr. Jun!

A very beautiful experience discovering Iriomote. Especially the kayaking in the mangroves, which offers a very exotic setting. The atmosphere is particularly relaxing. And thank you to the guide, Se-ta-san, very professional and very kind!
