Reviews
The tour guide and driver Peter who came to pick us up at the station had a very good service attitude and driving skills. He also had a very clear understanding of the scenic spots around the lake area. He gave us explanations along the way and led us on a very wonderful trip.
I made a reservation on this site because it was the cheapest. In the tour details and itinerary, it said that I would pick up my ticket at the station on the day of the tour, but I was worried about where I should go at the station and if there were any landmarks, so I asked questions in advance. For answers, just go to the ticket office. A local person will contact you in advance. On the day of the meeting, I went to the ticket office at the station, but I couldn't meet anyone. As the departure time approached, I became anxious and called the local operator. I then replied that I had already sent the ticket (e-tickets seem to be the norm these days) by email. Since I could speak some English, I sent him another email and managed to get on the train, but I was in suspense. I want you to stop giving random answers, and I want you to rewrite the information on the site properly. The local guide was very nice and had prepared his explanation in English beforehand, so I was able to understand it, but I think it would be difficult for people who don't have prior knowledge and don't understand English. I didn't think one day was enough to see the Lake District. I wanted to stay at least one night and see it.
Train tickets were given as e-tickets via email. That was an improvement. The local tour guide Peter is very nice and experienced. There was an unexpected traffic stationary during our return trip to the train station. It was Peter who knew an alternative route so that we could bypass the congestion and caught the train in time. In general, the places we visited were great. We enjoyed the cream tea and scones so much.
Very happy to see the scenery outside on the train. It is very comfortable. Don’t worry about the traffic. Afternoon tea is also great. My favorite muffin and a cup of hot tea.
The itinerary is good, the number of scenic spots is moderate, and you won’t be ignorant. We strongly recommend yacht tours in the lake, so you can enjoy the scenery of the lake area.
The tour was a bit tight but overall saying it was fantastic. Our guide Peter did a really good job in telling us interesting things about the lake district throughout the day trip, it was a very nice experiences after all !
Though kinda rushed (as expected from squeezing lake district in a day), the tour was thoroughly enjoyable and well planned, seamless from location to location with a guide (Mr. Peter Fox) who was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. I had fun! Only gripe was that we were informed to be at the meeting point (main ticket office of Euston station) 10-15mins before meeting time of 730am, yet the representative arrived only at 8am. Had to call the local operator who only picked up the call at about 745am, to find out where the rep was.
In the case of a good guide, Christ, he did his best to introduce the various attractions of the Lake District. The service attitude was very polite and careful. When it rained, he asked us to wait in the car. He also prepared the tickets for the sights. Let's take the time to take us around the lake area first, and take us to take pictures in a place where photos are better! Finally, we have a good afternoon tea, which is well received in a beautiful environment! The whole time is well mastered! Everyone is very happy!
Very beautiful place with the feeling of Hokkaido! One of the trips not to be missed
Don’t trust the train ticket delivery staff of Evans Evans. She almost ruined my trip! Other than the severe problem about ticket delivery, I generally enjoyed the trip. I have filed the below complaint to the travel agent: I am writing to complain your staff who got our day tour pack (with 4 tickets) exchanged with another set (2 tickets) . I have purchased 4 tickets for the Lake District Day Tour via Klook. I arrived at 7:45am and met your staff at around 7:53am and obtained the train tickets from her. She asked us to open the pack and showed us there were 4 train tickets. At the same time, we saw that there were 2 ladies who also joined this tour and obtained the ticket pack from your staff. Your staff told us we just had to wait in front of the notification board and wait for the platform number. Right before boarding, we found that the 4 tickets she showed us was actually for 2 people only, 2 go and 2 returns tickets. We immediately called your company number 2079501777 for many times but in vain. We then tried to find out the 2 ladies who also joined this tour to see if she had our 4 tickets on hand. 2 of us ran to the train, looked around and it was only after so many twist and turns we luckily located the lady and got our 4 tickets from her but the train was about to leave already and 2 of our friends (without tickets) were still outside the entrance. I blocked the train door and being scolded by the train staff hardly and the train started to leave and door closed. We were so disappointed and almost cried. Although finally we met our friends on the train again (only because the train staff at the entrance saw that I was waving and shouted), I am extremely disappointed with the fault made by your staff! I believe that you should punish your staff to avoid this situation again!
Thank you for choosing Klook and taking time to leave us a review! We are very sorry to hear about the bad experience you've had during the tour. This should not be the type of behavior we offer or permit our local operator to provide. One of our specialists will reach out to you regarding your booking. Thank you for your understanding.
