Reviews
We had a truly wonderful experience. The guide was very enthusiastic and happily taught us how to ski, let us experience different runs, and was very professional in ski instruction, ensuring the safety of the players. This is a truly professional tour in all aspects of organization, from reception, guidance on choosing boots and skis, transportation, and ski lessons. This tour is well worth experiencing. We are very satisfied.
As first time skiers, this was truly a great experience for myself and my family. The tour was well organised, all in one package, and our English speaking instructor, Soso, was excellent. She was very helpful and so patient. She gave careful instructions and good hints while being so attentive with each of us. There was only 8 of us in a group, another family of 4, so being such a small group made it so much fun and easier to learn. I highly recommend this day ski tour especially for beginners and will use again on our next trip.
This was my first time skiing, and I was very happy with the experience. Our instructor was Brother Dui. He started by letting us try gliding on the snow with one foot strapped in to get a feel for it. Then, we practiced kicking off with one foot. The last lesson before lunch was practicing the heel edge traverse, but actually, everyone was still having some trouble just standing up at this point 😂. While waiting in line for lunch, I secretly asked Brother Dui if he had any tips for getting up. He generously shared his experience. Amazingly, everyone's success rate gradually improved when the afternoon lessons started! Brother Dui said that our group was progressing pretty fast that day. After the heel edge traverse, we tried straight gliding into heel edge turns. Even though we still often fell all over the place, Brother Dui would carefully observe our movements and tell us what to focus on for correction. Later, we successfully progressed to the point where we could ride the gondola. Brother Dui also took us down the slopes in stages, and we even managed to get on the gondola for a second time before 3:30 PM! Overall, this was a very good experience, and I'm looking forward to having a full ski season to learn how to ski properly. Finally, I want to thank Brother Dui for taking away our customers' fear of skiing! And for bravely enduring the -16 degree Celsius temperature to take pictures of us with his hands frozen outside!
Overall, my ski experience booked through Klook was smooth, well-organized, and very enjoyable. This was my first time skiing, and as a beginner, I found it easy to learn thanks to the clear guidance from my instructor, Blue. On Sunday morning, the staff greeted me warmly and helped me with all the equipment. Even though some of them were not very fluent in English, they really tried their best to assist me, which I appreciated. I was placed in a small group with a very kind family, and the session felt relaxed and fun. Instructor Blue was patient, kind, and always made sure everyone was well taken care of. A million thanks to him, and I highly recommend choosing Instructor Blue if you have the option. Just a note: ski masks, helmets, and gloves are not included, so prepare some extra cash. This was not an issue for me as safety comes first. I feel very lucky to have had this experience and would definitely give it 5 stars.
We visited the physical store in Susukino to enquire, and Chris was incredibly helpful in answering all our questions before we booked our lesson. Our instructor, Soso, was extremely patient and guided us step by step—from putting on ski boots to learning basic ski skills. She even helped us carry the skis, which we really appreciated. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to try skiing. Everything is provided except gloves, face mask, helmet, and goggles (available for about 5,000 yen if needed, payable to the school). I compared a few ski schools before booking, and I have absolutely no regrets. Voilà—ski skills unlocked!
We had an amazing day at Teine Ski Resort! Even though we were hit with a blizzard and couldn’t use the cable car, it was still such a fun and memorable experience for the three of us. Our instructor was absolutely amazing — especially with our son Zach. He was patient, encouraging, and made Zach feel confident and excited the whole time. You could really tell he cared and knew exactly how to work with kids. Despite the weather, we had a fantastic time and would 100% recommend this experience. Thank you for such a great day on the snow!
highly recommended. family had a great time on this trip. Organisers are Chinese, but they catered well for english speakers only. Our guide and instructors are bilingual. Call out to ski instructor Blue - patient and caterers well to family with kids! He managed to teach both my kids age 14 and 8 (compete first time) to skill in a few hours and were doing the green run the next day. Much better value and experience compared to Threbo and Perisher. Photos and videos by the Blue were a bonus!
Such a fun trip to Teine! It was a new experience for most of us, and our coach explained everything really well, especially for beginners. The lesson was super helpful, definitely enough to get started and makes me want to try snowboarding again next winter.
Experience: I've always wanted to try skiing, so I took advantage of my vacation and went on a solo trip to Hokkaido. Before signing up, I researched a lot of ski lessons online, and I even considered hiring a one-on-one instructor, but considering that I was a complete beginner (one-on-one would be a bit of a waste of money) and the distance to the ski resort (day trip), I finally decided on this tour! After the experience, I thought it was very good. I fell down a lot at first (powder snow doesn't hurt too much), but later everyone could ski down from the mountain! Lunch was also quite delicious. Guide: Thank you, Coach Jay, for never giving up on me 😂, and for helping me take photos and videos!
Beginner-friendly! Super convenient with all equipment included, and the instructor is excellent! Joining this tour was definitely the right choice! The itinerary includes transportation, snow gear, and clothing, which is very convenient for tourists, and the price is very reasonable (great value). What I'm most satisfied with is meeting a great snowboard instructor - Brother Dui. He teaches very well, explains things clearly, and is really patient with students, allowing even beginners like us to enjoy the fun of skiing. If you want to learn snowboarding, I highly recommend finding him! I would love to participate again next time I come to Hokkaido.
