Mumbai: Elephanta Caves Half-Day Guided Tour

tour guide speaks Danish khan speaks english and fluent arabic , pick up on time and all was smooth . worth booking , also the driver salman was very professional and drove safely, went solo , very safe , and highly recommended

Totally recommend this activity for few reasons: hassle-free, worry-free and very smooth organisation. Our guide Danish contacted us a day before and confirmed the puck-up time and location. I recommend to go in the morning (9am slot), so that you can avoid crowd and the hottest part of the day. After discovering the caves, we had some time left and Danish showed us a view point and Cannon hill.

during this trip , the story with elephanta caves and all the sculptures inside the cave is very interesting. the tour guide has good skills of taking photos so give me many good photos and videos that I like so much. there is a big group of birds flying around the ferry which is also nice. credit to Saad - my Tourguide during the trip excluding the caves and Krishna - my Tourguide inside the cave

Fantastic Tour with Danish. We had an amazing experience visiting the Elephanta Caves thanks to our guide, Danish DK. He was an incredible person who went above and beyond to ensure we were safe and comfortable throughout the entire trip. It was very helpful to have him navigate the ferry and logistics from Mumbai. Once at the site, we were required to get an official government appointment guide, which added a great layer of historical depth to the ancient carvings. Highly recommend booking this for a hassle-free and educational day trip!

Our guide, Danish, picked us up from our hotel and walked with us to the ferry. He took care of everything when getting on the boat, and explained what to expect when we arrived by the caves. Unfortunely, we didn’t listen well enough and purchased an overpriced marble elephant (you live and you learn). On the way back he gave us advice about where we should eat and do our shopping. All in all a very good experience.

Our guide, Danish, was awesome - he is very likeabble and awesome. Pick up was on time, all good. We recommend to book him if you going to Bombay. Local guide at The cave, however, not as great as what we like; He just do it very rush which is kinda bad… overal its a good package, only the site guide which need to be improved.

My guide, Danish, was friendly and knowledgable. He was fun to be with and great company. Highly recommended. Visitors should be aware that there is a 1 hour each way Ferry crossing which I personally found culturally interesting but a bit long. There is also a climb from the port to the cave which is quite challenging.

Chetan is a great guide who explained the stories behind in great details and ensured smooth transit from Mumbai. Especially the photography skills of him is amazing. Enjoyed the trip!
