What to expect
Join Yuki, a bilingual cooking instructor in Sapporo, for an unforgettable decorative sushi-making experience. She trained under a Japanese chef who once cooked for members of the imperial family and has appeared on Japanese TV multiple times. In 2024, she showcased her floral sushi to the mayors of Sapporo and Portland during the 65th anniversary of their sister city partnership. Knowing you’re in good hands, learn to roll your own sushi in a professional’s kitchen using naturally pink vinegared rice made with beetroot. Choose fresh ingredients and make your sushi in the shape of beautiful flowers. Depending on the option selected, you can either take the sushi you make home with you or enjoy it at the venue as part of a meal with side dishes. Please check the option details carefully.

I booked this activity to celebrate my daughter's 12 birthday with 2 friends. Yuki picked us up at the station and brought us to her house. We loved the intimate, cozy atmosphere of being in her home. Yuki's instructions were clear and easy to follow. The sushi rolls looked beautiful and were delicious. We will definitely try this again at home!
