Yilan: Guishan Island Landing & Whale Watching & Milk Sea

From the Line customer service, to the check-in counter staff, to the crew members on the boat, everyone made me feel so warm and welcome! Here, I saw Taiwan's most beautiful scenery: "strong human kindness." Even traveling alone, I wasn't afraid of not being taken care of. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience, and thank you to the staff for sharing their knowledge. Next time, I'll remember to get enough sleep and take motion sickness medication! Although the waves were too strong to land on the island today, I saw many friendly and adorable dolphins, the beautiful Yin-Yang Sea, and the Milk Sea. The explanations were also very clear and interesting. Next time, I want to go to 401! It was my first time seeing Guishan Island and dolphins up close, and I was deeply moved. Thank you to nature for its beauty; I hope everyone will help protect it. The park around the harbor and Sunrise Beach are also very beautiful and worth visiting!

From check-in to being guided onto the boat, everything was handled with great care. During the trip, explanations were provided at appropriate times, and bottled water was available on board. We were lucky enough to see dolphins and the Guishan Island landing route was concise and interesting. I would definitely recommend this experience to family and friends in the future. The only minor drawback was that the life vests on the boat were quite old and even had a slight odor.

Today I went whale watching at Guishan Island in Yilan, and it was absolutely amazing! In the morning, the sun was shining on the sea, and it felt incredibly comfortable. We took a boat out to sea, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way. Then, we saw many whales leaping out of the water, which was so exciting! Their majestic forms were truly breathtaking, and I couldn't stop taking pictures. Near Guishan Island, you can also see unique geological features, like the turtle head of Turtle Island. There's also a chance to see adorable dolphins swimming around the boat, which is super cute! This whale watching trip was so worthwhile and filled me with awe for the ocean. Yilan is truly a beautiful place, and I definitely want to visit again! The crew worked hard chasing dolphins, but unfortunately, the dolphins kept heading out to sea and diving, so we only caught a fleeting glimpse for about 0.3 seconds. Most of the passengers on board got seasick due to the rough waves that afternoon. The circumnavigation and landing on Guishan Island were still quite enjoyable, with opportunities to explore and take photos.

Three-in-one tour: whale watching, island hopping, and island landing. Great value for money! We didn't see any whales, but there were so many dolphins, it was like an all-you-can-eat dolphin buffet. The dolphins were very intelligent, almost as if they were putting on a show.

The service and professional tour guide were excellent. Our group was also very lucky to see many dolphins, which was amazing! It was even drizzling a bit at first, but the sky gradually cleared up as the dolphins appeared. It was absolutely worth it!

The boat was very large and comfortable, and water was provided. We had to wear life jackets. We saw dolphins, and the staff were very friendly. There was someone on board providing commentary. Highly recommend! 👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

day trip to watch dolphin on 9/9, light rain in the morning and dolphin didnt show up…. my bus got delayed but im glad they wait for everyone before onboard the ferry. the process is easy, the journey are enjoyable too. but im not sure why we didnt saw the milky sea, maybe because of the weather too….

Today's trip was so lucky; we saw tons of adorable dolphins! 🐬♥ The weather was great, and the team was fantastic too.

First, check in at the Fish Association. Then, counter number three will direct you to the boat. You'll need to learn how to put on a life vest. Since today is Wednesday, there's no direct island landing itinerary. We were the first boat today to encounter dolphins, though the dolphins eventually went to greet the second boat. It's a shame we didn't see any whales. I hope to have the chance to visit the island next time. We don't recommend this activity for children under three years old, as they tend to run around, which can be quite troublesome.
