Cesky Krumlov Day Tour from Prague
- Visit medieval city of Český Krumlov in South Bohemia, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
- Visit the second largest castle in the Czech Republic and admire the baroque gardens.
- Enjoy a comfortable ride from Prague on an air-conditioned bus.
What to expect
Go on a trip to a fairy-tale city: Český Krumlov (CK), Czech second most visited tourist attraction. The castle and the historic center of the town was inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1992. The architecture in the historic core of Český Krumlov has remained largely intact over the course of centuries. There were many such towns all over Central Europe, but most of them suffered damages during wars. In contrast to the fate of many such towns, Český Krumlov evolved peacefully and managed to preserve its heritage.

Reviews summary.hana is really a good guide. she knows her stuff and is enthusiastic about it. the restaurant she recommended is tasty. there's USB port in the bus. like a local intercity bus. about 2h45min journey each way.
We were so lucky to have a “private” tour led by Hana (as only two of us joined haha) She was flexible, patient and knowledgeable about CK town, explaining different architecture styles in detail. She helped us take good pictures as well!! For lunch, she recommended a good restaurant which offered delicious meat platters and seafood at a reasonable price. She is highly recommended to those interested in visiting CK. We were grateful for having her in our trip!!! Thank you Hana😆😆
Our tour guide was the lovely and energetic Hana. The day before, she notified us of the pick-up location via WhatsApp, including a picture to clearly show us where to go. The reserved round-trip seats were also excellent, putting us at ease since we were worried about getting carsick. Upon arriving in Český Krumlov, Hana meticulously introduced the history, architecture, and art. Thanks to her explanations, I finally understood the differences between Renaissance, Baroque, and Gothic architecture – I'm so grateful! Additionally, she took us to various scenic spots with the best views for photos, allowing us to capture beautiful memories. She also recommended a restaurant serving incredibly delicious traditional Czech cuisine, which we thoroughly enjoyed. And of course, she showed us souvenir shops – it was truly fantastic! With Hana's guidance, we had a wonderful day in Český Krumlov, and we also appreciate the small gift she gave us! As a final bonus, because we are all food lovers, Hana recommended restaurants and street food in Prague. As soon as we returned to Prague, we rushed to one of the dessert and ice cream shops she mentioned – wow! It was absolutely delicious! Thank you, Hana, we are happy to have you as our guide.
It was Cesky Krumlov with guide Niki. Although he doesn't speak English well, he was very kind and even used a translator to explain things very well. ♥ Thank you for taking such pretty pictures. Thanks to him, I had a fun Cesky Krumlov tour.
it was a small group size on the day that we signed up for the day trip to CK. We traveled on a local routine bus to CK (tickets included in the package) with a few stops in between. All seats are arranged with assigned numbers, not free & easy sitting. Hana was the tour guide. She was experienced, helpful, speak clearly and showed us the beautiful CK. volunteered to take photos for us at more popular scenery spots. recommended good place for lunch for our reference. the walking pace was good.
Český Krumlov is a fairytale town straight out of a storybook. The charming old town, winding cobblestone streets, and stunning castle overlooking the Vltava River made it feel magical. It’s small enough to explore in a day, but every corner is picturesque. A must-visit if you’re in the Czech Republic!
This is a breathtaking town with interesting history to learn. It is an awesome place to visit. Also Credits to Hana, a sweet lovely guide who shares good sources of information in this town and provides warm hospitality to the group too.
it's a beautiful little town full of history. Our tour guide - Hana is knowledgable and passionate to the history of this little town. She walked us through the roses and bear, it's a pleasure to followed her pace to explore this town. Her food recommendation is great! Expert navigation and warm hospitality! Thumbs up to Hana! Keep up the good work!
Amazing place to visit in Czech Republic, personally think that CK town is even more beautiful than Prague. The tour guide was very friendly, and even recommended us to go to have lunch at a unique cellar-styled restaurant with affordable price!! Our tour guide was so sociable and talkactive, and good at interacting with us, which made us feel chilled and enjoyable during our trip, thanks a lot 😊
Totally enjoyed this day trip. Our guide Dominik was great. He was energetic, humorous, and an entertaining story teller of this charming and fairy tale like town of Cesky Krumlov. We felt like on family trip with him. Cesky Krumlov is absolutely beautiful and is unlike any town I have seen. The history of Czech Republic and this town/village is long and complicated but Dominik was able to make it easy to follow, so that we can talk about what we learned after the tour. I would totally recommend this tour with Dominik to my friends and family when they visit this beautiful country.
