St. Peter's Basilica, Square & Papal Grottoes Guided Tour in Rome

our guide today was very impressive! he knew every little detail by heart and i was in awe of it. the place is so rich in history and culture. this is something you should not miss!

We arrived in the morning and attended the Pope's Mass. Afterwards, security asked us to move forward with the crowd, so we couldn't meet our guide at the meeting point and missed the guided tour. The agency still called us to find out where we were and pick up the group along the way, but we had already done the visits on our own. The places are impressively beautiful.

It was a highly informative, educational and solemn tour. Thr tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and provided insightful information throughout. These memories and experiences will be treasured for a lifetime. ♥️

There was a long queue due to the Jubilee and church was opened only in the afternoon, so be prepared. Despite that, we enjoyed the tour because of Silvia. She is by far the most knowledgeable and informative guide I ever encountered. She knows a lot about the history of the place giving us some very detailed history of the Basilica and the popes. It’s like we were listening to an audiobook full of rich history. We appreciate her very positive personality as well. Thank you

It was my first time in the Vatican. There were so many more things to see than I had imagined. It was a far cry from the experience of having a tour guide explaining the tour. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have known what I was looking at. It happened to be the Roman Jubilee, and the tour guide was very considerate and reminded us that we could walk through the Holy Door once before leaving the church.

It wasn't exactly fast track, but compared to the Vatican Museums, this wasn't something you couldn't wait for at all! The line seemed to be moving faster than I thought. The guide was also very detailed and kind in explaining things, which was great. Personally, I skipped going up to the dome on the upper floor due to time constraints, but it was still a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
