Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle: A Half-Day Trip from Ljubljana

We had a 30% discount for booking this tour. Pick up transfer was smooth. The Postjona cave is amazing and the castle is beautiful. The transfer saves us a lot of hassle from getting public transport there.

Smooth transfer between the 2 places. Road on the way was alittle whiny for people with motion sickness since the cave is located near a small mountainous area, so do get prepared some vit B. The guide only serve as a driver, not as an actual tour guide showing the 2 locations, as these 2 places have guided tours itself (audio self guided tour for the castle, inhouse guided tour for the cave). The time spent in the cave can be abit longer as we find it alittle too short, the cave itself is about 1-1.5hrs walk so we didn't really pause for wefie pics (had to keep walking to catch up with this tour group's meeting time instead). Overall, still a good value for transport+ tickets, as taking own transport there is about the same price.

I had a wonderful day on the tour. Postojna cave and Prejana castle are must visit. The are very unique and interesting. I would like to thank Bronc, our guide and driver for sharing with us the history of Slovenia. He did make sure we had a good time.

Our guide was friendly, fun and informative. We managed to see the castle without too many people and the caves were a fantastic experience.

I'm very glad that I bought the itinerary, which saved me a lot of time on taking buses and transferring. We saw the cave castle before a large number of group tourists arrived, so the experience was very good. The tour guide will introduce the history of Slovenia and the attractions along the way, and at the same time have good driving skills. This day's itinerary is satisfactory from the road to the attractions themselves.

This activity only includes transportation and a tour guide; it does not include admission tickets to attractions. We spent about 1 hour and 20 minutes visiting the stalactite cave. It was quite crowded with many people in one time slot, but having a guide lead and explain everything throughout the tour was good, and the cave is huge and well worth seeing. The castle was also nice, but we only had 1 hour to visit, which felt very rushed. It would be better if at least 1 hour and 15-30 minutes were provided.

We felt so scammed by this booking in that it does not include the 50 euro per person entry to the attraction and that is not made clear in the title or description of this booking. You are only paying for a taxi ride there and back with some commentary about Slovenia along the way. We could have taken an Uber for far far less money. Again, really felt like a scam that entry to the attraction is not included with this. The driver was friendly and the van was nice & comfortable, but at over $250usd for the four of us just for 2 hours of driving, I would sure hope that would be the case!

The tour guide was not OK. It was a small group of more than ten people sitting in a van. The tour guide used a mic so loudly that he couldn’t hear it. Some of the group members couldn’t hear what he said, but he said it so loudly that he spoke so loudly. I'm really annoyed, the cave is breathtaking, right!
