Reviews
very simple, you go to the boat docks and just speak to the men in charge of putting you on the boat. there is a someone who will tell you facts from the boat but everything else is done by yourself so you have the freedom to explore, you just have to follow the boat timings. Very nice experience.
A really good experience. Guide was very knlowledgable, she speaked 5 different languages. Boat was always on time and we had enough time to explore the islands.
meet up is easy . the trip to the islands are smooth and time allocated is sufficient for us to enjoy the islands. good day trip when you are in Venice
Overall this was a great tour. Good value for money and a nice break from the madness of St Mark's square. The only thing is we'd have liked around 30-60 mins more on Murano as it is a bit of a whistle stop stay - espiecally if you get caught in the glass showroom. Unless you REALLY like glass our tip would be to escape out of the rear doors and see the island. Our guide Isabel was excellent and provided all the important info. Tour ran to exact time and a small tip if you arrive at the meeting point and are unsure which tour to join there will be a guide wearing white polo shirt with a red lion on it. Overall this was great. Would definitely recommend!
My family enjoyed the trip to Murano and Burano. My kids were in awe of the glass-blowing master artist who was so creative in his craft. It was also enjoyable exploring the island itself. We just had difficulty looking for which tour group we belonged to at first since it wasn’t indicated in the booking confirmation. Good thing we were able to find it in time.
The boat journey to the island is very far and it take about 35 mins to get there. The shop at the island are very expensive.
The weather is very good, to visit the two islands I want to go, very beautiful, the first place to go to Murano, a lot of glass crafts, meeting time is 12:25, see really some group members can not catch the boat, we remember the boarding location, you may get lost. Then go to Color Island, more souvenirs to buy, stay time is 1 hour 30 minutes, time is a bit rushed but worth it
very enjoyable but did not get to spend as much time exploring the islands as we’d hoped. the glass blowing demonstration was amazing.
Head to the docks and find the company as stated from the voucher ( you can see the company email address) you need to approach the operators to secure your seats on the ferry. You’re not meeting up with a tour guide who has a name list, just feeey managers. The tour explanation is onboard through the PA system and the glass making demonstration will be given once you’re on Murano.
We are so enjoying this trip and the staff are so friendly👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
