This hotel is pretty dated and in need of upgrades and attention to detail. The flowers throughout are plastic which is a shame. Aside from the location, there is nothing special about the property. Our room for 350 GBP per night was tiny with a double bed filling most of the space. Our two suitcases covered close to the rest of the floor. I would have not liked to stay more than 1 night. The bathroom was basic and there was a good amount of water on the floor after showering since the glass panel was defective. The food was good but definitely too expensive. The best part of our stay was talking to the falconer and watching the birds of prey. Comparing this hotel to some others in the area, the rates are definitely too high. In total, we spent 630 GBP for a tiny, dated room for one night with breakfast, dinner and a few drinks.

this was a beautiful stay in an out of the way and quiet location. it is close enough to the isle of skye though as it is only about an hour or so north. it is a very cute old place and very pet friendly.

Seemed very expensive for a small room at £190 with no breakfast. For a NC500 overnight stay dinner looked very expensive at £60 a head. Not a lot of other food options. Lovely property in a beautiful spot but you pay for it and for these prices it needs a bit more attention to detail.

We stayed in two different rooms. The first room was on the top floor and very small with a slanted ceiling and the bed was a small double bed so we weren’t that comfortable. The second night we stayed in one of the bigger deluxe rooms on the first floor, which was much nicer. The dinner in the restaurant was delicious and the service was excellent.
