Good

Beautifully appointed room. Spacious, clean, nice decor. Pool was in good order and a nice temperature. Unfortunately in the full kitchen, there is nothing in it. We asked for crockery and cutlery, one set was delivered. We would have liked to be able to cut up fruit etc and eat simple meals in the room (eg instant noodles). Meals at the resort (if not included) are expensive. Buggy/tuk tuk service worked well. Check in process could have been better. The was a lot of information that wasn’t provided. Eg which restaurants we could eat at for our included meals, the activity timetable, tourist information for the local area, what to do and where to go beyond safari and VinWonders. Overall we had a lovely stay, however improved customer service and information provision would have made for a more enjoyable stay.

First, this is definitely NOT a five star resort. Maybe 3.5 or 4 stars, but that is it. The facilities are getting very dated…we had holes in our walls, and the quality of the villas just wasn’t very good. The game room had broken pool table, only one pool cue, and there were no darts for the dart board. The majority of the restaurants were closed, which left us with the only options of a buffet, or Spanish restaurant for dinner. There is a bar, which stops serving food at 6pm…inconvenient and the food was not great. The best way to describe the shuttles (tuk tuks) to get around the resort is FRUSTRATING. They always quoted 10-15 minutes. And would arrive anywhere from 2 to 20 minutes. And we would be waiting outside, while empty tuk tuks drove by and wouldn’t stop for us. Which gets me to the most disappointing part of our 5 days. The staff was awful. Apathetic and couldn’t have cared less. And it wasn’t just one area of the resort. From the restaurants (the server behind the bar couldn’t bother to come to our tables to take our order), to the omelet station who refused to make omelets to order, to the chef who, when asked for a side of syrup, seemed very put out, went to the kitchen and never returned, to the person staffing the “clinic” who refused to give any first aid when my daughter was ill. They were all awful. We went to the Sheraton one night for dinner because of poor food options and they were amazing to us!! So friendly and attentive! Go there!

Reception staff very good, Casa Nostra Staff very good. Pools clean and mostly well maintained but getting tired. Lifeguards don’t do much in the way of watching the pool, was shouted at by one of them because of his belief that I had not used a towel card for each of our party going as far as refusing to return our towel cards. Basic restaurant staff also not the greatest for a resort that bills itself so highly. I was shouted at again by a front desk staff member at the restaurant at the Ibiza area. Villa was dusty, especially the ceiling fans. Floors could use a scrub. Several damaged furniture pieces in the bedrooms and living area. Villa pool was nice, quiet and private. Beach was pleasant and pretty. General area adjacent to the Mellia was very artificial at best and overtly uninhabited. Neighbouring golf course was a pleasant experience and well maintained. Vinpearl Safari was a good visit for our little one who really enjoyed the Junior Safari program.

The tuk tuk takes a long time, they seemed a bit disorganized. There were no utensils, pots, pans, bowels, plates, etc. You had to pay an additional fee for those items. Considering the amount of of money to stay at the resort you would think it woould be available for free. Also, it was extremely hard to navigate the bus system they had. They didn't explain how/where the bus takes you. Grab was much easier to use.

Fantastic
The units are sizable and the Ibiza Club was beautiful. The only challenge we had was, we took a tuk tuk across the property to one of the 2 available breakfasts and, even though we were well within the hours and there were tables visibly available, they weren’t seating new people.
