I recently stayed at Hotel Indigo Stratford Upon Avon by IHG, and overall it was a very good experience with only a couple of small things to be aware of for future travellers. 🛏️ Room & Cleanliness The rooms were modern, spotless, and well‑maintained, which immediately set a good tone for the stay. The addition of air conditioning was a big plus, especially for warmer days, and everything felt fresh and comfortable. 👋 Staff & Reception Staff throughout the hotel were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Reception in particular was efficient and made check‑in smooth. You really feel looked after from the moment you arrive. 🍳 Breakfast Breakfast was well organised, with good service and a solid choice of hot and cold options. Everything was fresh, and the team kept things running smoothly even during busy periods. 🍸 Bar The bar area was a nice place to relax, with a cosy atmosphere and good drink options. A great spot to unwind after exploring the town. 🚗 Parking The only downside is the £15 per day parking fee, which feels a little on the high side and is an additional cost on top of the booking. It’s worth factoring this in when planning your stay. 📍 Location The hotel’s location is excellent. Stratford Upon Avon itself is a lovely area with plenty of pubs, restaurants, and cafés within walking distance. The river walk is especially nice and adds to the charm of staying here. ✔️ Overall: A clean, modern hotel with great staff, good breakfast, and an ide

What a fantastic stay! Parking right next door (public carpark), and the hotel is directly opposite Shakespeare’s New Place house. The front of the building is the old Tudor Falcon Inn which is a really spectacular building and they have respected the interiors which is nice. The rest of the hotel is a 1960’s building which has been sensitively redone and modernised in a very stylish way. We were warmly welcomed- all the staff were fantastically welcoming and friendly. We had a barbecue dinner in the pretty rose and herb garden on Sunday evening which was brilliant. The room was spotless, had airconditioning, well equipped and the standard room had a kingsize bed. We have high standards and we are frequently disappointed but this was absolutely superb. Beautiful decor, great staff, faultless location, good food and the breakfast service was a fantastic experience too. Such lovely breakfast staff. We are already planning a return visit soon. We have spent the past five years having to visit Windsor on a regular basis and it would benefit greatly from a Hotel Indigo! No notes. Perfect. Thank you.

Quirky room but well designed. Great bathroom. Evidence of maintenance ongoing in other rooms, nothing terrible just wear and tear from visitors that needed attention in room 111. Breakfast was excellent!

This is our favourite place to stay in Stratford. Right in the town centre, convenient to everywhere. Lovely rooms - well appointed, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff are lovely too, always very helpful. I don't normally eat breakfast but on this occasion we did and that was excellent too.

The check in staff was amazing! Liv in particular was extremely helpful:) The rooms were decorated in a fun and cheeky manner but had all of the modern amenities needed for a very comfortable stay. The Woodsmen’s restaurant was outstanding. We had the Sunday Roast and it was one of the best meals we have ever had. The entire stay at the hotel was wonderful.
