Unbelievably expensive for what’s on offer. We had to book 2 rooms as a family of 5 even though we would fit in one rooms.

Good

Good enough. Has a bit of a hostel feel to it though. Needed attention to detail. For example neither of our rooms had TVs that were properly tuned and one remote was faulty. The hotel is noisy because of lack of soft furnishings in corridors making doors slam. I could get the air on to work in either room or at least I don’t think it worked. Check in was a palaver as we had to use a touch screen despite the staff member waiting for us to complete it. I can’t see how that was efficient. One lift was out of order and neither reached the ground floor so our elderly mother has to struggle with six or do steep steps. There was a door locked downstairs that I think would have given Street level access. I did ask the guy on reception but he said it had to be locked. On the positives. The area is nice and there are good cares nearby. The tram drops off outside. The bathroom was good and the room was fine. Overall not bad but not fab either.

Lovely stay. Bit quirky. Plenty choice at breakfast. Next to tram but not too noisy if you have the window closed. Would use again

The staff were friendly and helpful. A good location, not too far from anywhere and well sited for trams. Was a bit tired decor wise. Family room worked well but could have done with more independent lighting options in 2nd bedroom to allow for bedtime reading not using the main lights.

Lovely staff, great location, well appointed duplex room. BUT - terribly noisy. Our room was on the entrance floor level in the old building. The wall parallel to the corridor, across the width of the room, was made of glass and plywood with blackout curtains over it. The corridor floor was wood. Every time somebody rolled their case down the corridor the noise reverberated through the room. Each set of people walking along the corridor in heels created more noise. When doors slammed closed the plywood wall shook. Saturday night the noise was beyond belief, couldn't get any sleep until 3am. Then we were woken up by the people checking out before breakfast.
