Lovely little villas and lovely breakfast. Do not miss dining on the property! One of the best dinners we had in St. Martin.

Most of all, the peace and quiet here is fantastic and very close to the beach and restaurants.

The location was amazing. Restaurant and beaches were superb! Our pool needed a good cleaning with some algae on the walls but otherwise a perfect location

It wasn’t as upscale as I would like. The island itself seemed like it was suffering economically and the seaweed on the beach was disappointing!

I suggest they add a loveseat and coffee table to add a level of comfort. The rooms are large and could handle the additional furniture.

My second stay here, I am a repeat guest! I love this place! The location is perfect, it is clean, quiet, the staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast is always great whether you order something or just use the continental, and there is plenty of parking if you have a vehicle. As a solo traveler, I feel very safe in this area, and on the island which is a plus! The dinners at l’astrolabe restaurant are also yummy and delicious. I definitely recommend this place for a great stay!

I had a great time. Every staff member is helpful and very nice. My favorite amenity was the swimming pool. It's shared between four rooms. But in reality it's like your private pool. Good breakfast (not savory, you have to pay extra for that), gourmet dinner. Merci, Esmeralda!

Coming to this island, we didn't know what to expect - but once we arrived, the feel of the villas and landscaping were on point. It's a bit dated but it was perfect for the ambience. The bed was super comfy, the outdoor patio amazing and still private, even with the occupied villa right next door. Love the private pool and really indulged in having L'Astrolabe within walking distance. The restaurant is amazing and we got to enjoy the continental breakfast with an "American" upgrade every day. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful and made us feel SO welcome. We enjoyed the walk to the beach every time and getting to experience the different Beach Clubs along the beach was a nice experience. Our evening walks to Orient Village were easy going too. We will DEF be back. Thank you Esmeralda Resort, our 27th wedding anniversary was one to remember!

Restaurant is AMAZING & Staff Soooo Great! Location great & room is calm & beautiful ambiance. As Americans, the hard key for room & pool were both difficult & annoying when you can't access without help? Close to Grand Case which is a MUST for foodies & walking to the square for variety of grea t food
