Toilet constantly ran and flushed poorly. Air conditioner window unit was extremely loud and turned on and off often, disrupting sleep.

Don't be fooled by the online photos. The location was good for getting around the city, but the area is surrounded by homeless and drug addicts. When we arrived, there was a person smoking crack on the front step. Do not bring your kids here. Entry is up a big set of stairs, so heavy luggage made it difficult. There is a security door that you need to buzz in, which eased some concerns. But once you're on the street you're confronted by drug affected Zombies and homeless asking for handouts. The rooms are ok for budget accom. The sheets didn't seem to be particularly laundered well. Bathrooms were good, but towels are very old. Visible stains on walls. My toilet was running all night. Aircon was VERY loud on the lowest setting. They did offer to tidy the room, but you had to request it before 11am. Which I didn't have a problem with. We stayed in summer, so there was a festival happening right next to the hotel which meant loud music and party goers until the early morning. Breakfast was free. I didn't try it though, so I can't comment on the quality. But it seemed fine from what I saw. In short... not a good hotel for a family. Only stay if you're on a budget and happy with basic accom. You're only paying for the location of the hotel, not the comfort.

The entrance is way old and smells like a mix between Parisian metro and a brothel, looks like it too. The room itself looks great in pictures…but filthy carpet, windows, satined chairs and couch. The bathroom fixtures are very rusted and old. Beware. The breakfasts was 100% unacceptable.
