The hotel has a street / pavement frontage: this is a main road and therefore scruffy. But once inside andcespecially in the room, the decir and facilities are really good. The room has some nice lighting touches, and the gentle bathroom low-level light comes on when you open the door - very nice! Recommended.

I liked the hotel room, the sloped ceiling and windows are not typical. The bathroom had a heated towel rack and the room was warm. Everything is walking distance in Salzburg, so that was not an issue. The hotel was small, but clean. The young lady who checked us in was not the most enthusiastic hotel staffer I have ever seen. But, after spending a day in Salzburg, I realize that she is not atypical of the service industry in Salzburg. Nevertheless, a pleasant experience. Oh, the young lady let us check in very early, way before other hotels normally would. So, that is a big plus.

The property is well situated between the train station and the main old city area. The front desk lady was helpful and check in was easy. The room and elevators are very compact. Elevator only fits two people with luggage. They do try to make the most out of the space given. The fridge holds maybe 4 drink bottles.

It's a budget hotel. There's no room service, no breakfast, no restaurant, no gym, no games room. What there is, is a comfortable bed, great shower and some kinda okay towels. Everything you need when you book a place to sleep and are planning on being out most of the day. I was more than happy with the service provided, given what this hotel provides. Price is in line with the amenities offered, so no complaint. If you're looking for a simple hotel to sleep and shower and not much else, this is perfect. Location is good. Close to the central station, close to the river. As a bonus, they do have gummy bears!
