GoodStayed with family
This hotel has always been amazing for us. But last night was unusual. The right side of the bed was for some reason sunken. So it hurt my back big time. next morning engineer came in and was so sorry to hear and see how the bed was. He talked to front desk and they agreed to refund me for the whole night. Unusual event but they took responsibility. This Irvine Marriot has always been great to us. Still highly recommended.

Fantastic My trip went perfect from entry to exit…. I didn’t mind the $ Valet parking, but a $ destination fee? Did I visit Los Vegas and not know it? Vegas does all them hidden fees to make up for COVID-19 loses…. That’s why I do not visit Vegas anymore!
I’ll be checking my other Marriott’s, before I stay! Texas was FREE and that was a 1/4 mile from Dallas Fort Worth Airport..

Below averageStayed with kids
We had a horrible experience with the front desk staff during this stay. I booked a two queen/full-size room due to the size of our party and arrived at 8:30pm on Saturday night during the Memorial Day weekend. When I got to the front desk to check in, the agent informed me that the property was oversold on that type of room and that only rooms with king-size beds were available, I was told that there's nothing they can do. I either accept what they have available or relocate elsewhere. When I asked when she recommended I should go on a Saturday night, especially during the holiday, she had no suggestion.
She then offered to adjust the rate and stated that she applied the discount to both nights. However, after returning home and reviewing my reservation, I discovered that the rate I had originally booked was .... on Saturday night and .... on Sunday—meaning she only adjusted the rate for one night but was straight-up lying to my face that she adjusted it for the two nights. This person at the front desk should not be working the front desk, as she is a horrible human being. I was so shocked when she told me to relocate if I don't want to settle for one king-size bed for a family of 3, and my son is 25 years old. I definitely felt very dismissive and disrespectful.

There were kids and teenagers at the pool every night until late 11PM. It was loud and hard to sleep. I called to the front desk on our last night and it took them 45 mins to go and ask the kids the leave the pool. The pool closes at 10PM. If it’s too noisy to sleep, then the entire stay sucks.

Delayed check-in desire arriving after 5 pm! Broken shower, broken bathroom door handle, terrible view of HVAC equipment despite getting the “best” room.
