Great

Solo stay

I stayed at this hotel for a little over two weeks and really enjoyed my time there. I booked a room with a balcony, which I’d highly recommend, I loved sitting outside and taking in the view. The hotel is in an older part of town, so the building itself is a bit dated, but I felt the facility was well maintained overall. The pool could use a little work, but I had no issues using it and still found it enjoyable. The place has a bit of a hostel-like vibe, but in a good way, it feels relaxed, social, and surrounded by a nice, natural atmosphere, with some great common areas to hang out in. My only real complaint is the showers. Don’t expect hot water, more like warm. That said, it wasn’t a big deal when I stayed since the weather was already hot.

Fantastic
The staff were great, helpful and kind. Loved the exposed lobby area. Everything is pay much open air, so when the staff clean the room a few mosquitoes were getting in regularly. No real views but close to many of the markets. First time visit and really enjoyed the city experience.

Great

Solo stay

My ratings only recieve excellent reviews when there is no outside noises (birds, people and other) and when the bed is soft. Beaides that, great stay and highly recommend the deluxe double suite as that is the one I chose to stay in. The other rooms are much smaller and less cozy as I choose to upgrade my room.

We came in on an early morning train and left on an early morning flight, so having 24 hour reception and left luggage facilities was valued. Great location to eat and explore in Old Town.

Good

Great location. Pool is refreshing after exploring the city in the heat. That’s the good. Mattress just a little bit softer than a park bench. Very little room around the pool. Staff tried to over charge for laundry service. Staff very friendly but need to be more attentive to the cleanliness of the sitting area in front of reception.

Good

Solo stay · For leisure

I’ll start with the positives. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The location was perfect. Only four minutes away from the gate to the city wall and only six minutes away from most of the tours meeting location. You’re right in the center of everything only 17 minute walk to the bazaar. Now to the negatives, the mattress was horrible. When I got to the hotel, I walked in my room and I was so tired. I clapped myself on the bed and literally hurt my back because Mattress was as hard as a rock. I wouldn’t ask the staff if if they can move me to another room with a better mattress and they fit all the rooms at the same mattress. There was absolutely no way I could sleep on that. It was horrible. The staff was really friendly when I asked them if they could bring some kind of padding and they brought over some blankets and placed them on the bed to try to help cushion. It was still pretty hard, but at least I was able to sleep on it. The bathroom was not great. The room itself was a decent size. No smart TV. All in all it is a great location to stay in and the staff was amazing, but the hotel needs to upgrade their Mattresses.
