Hotel was amazing. The staff was very kind and although we showed up at 8am check in wasn’t until 3 but they were able to have the room ready by 9-10 am for us. The room was very beautiful and spacious. They had left us some home made cookies and ouzo. They have a very friendly cat who loves to be pet. Oia is only about a 10-15 minute walk and the scenery is beautiful. Check in and checkout process was seamless. It is in a quiet area so there is no need to worry about cars or people.

We had a really memorable stay at this hotel, which provided the charm of a traditional cave experience. The room was fabulous and look exactly like in the pictures, it was full of character and quirky with beautiful artwork at every corner. We were greeted with a bottle of ouzo and biscuits and by the adorable cat of the owner, who adopted us during our stay - a real highlight of our holiday! Everything was very clean and the owner friendly and happy to help, and the location ideal with a short walk to busy Oia - only things that could have been better was the bed which was a bit small, and the fact the shower ended up flooding the bathroom (but we were told it would happen!) I would highly recommend the place, and we found it ideal to be based in a traditional village very close to Oia to get the best of both worlds - just important to be mindful of the fact there are many steps and uneven surfaces to reach the hotel/rooms so it may not be suitable to guests who are elderly or with mobility difficulties.

Property is beautiful and worth it for the experience. Accessing the caves was a little difficult with large luggage so if you have mobility issues or are a heavy packer, it may be a little tricky. Also phone service and wifi was very minimal, however that comes with the rooms being authentic caves. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

The room and area where very nice . We could literally walk to oía , the thing that was not great was the weak WiFi but overall the hotel was great
