Staying at Residence Inn is always nice because rooms are like apartment units. They are spacious and have everything you need for a flexible and comfortable stay. There were some imperfections in cleanliness with our unit at the Orangeburg location, but we didn’t complain since we were checked in early. Front desk staff were very kind and helpful as well. Although there aren’t too many hotel options in the area, we will likely stay here again the next time we visit.

Great This was our 3rd stay in the last year. Pros: The breakfast is top notch. The beds are very comfortable. The provide most all of your toiletries and even a hair dryer so thats nice. The shower pressure is good and always hot. The kitchen was stock ok for cooking and what it lacked I got it quickly when I asked. The rooms are very nice. The pool is great-warm and clean. It's overall very quiet especially if you are in a front room. There is a grocery store next door that you can walk to. Tgere are tons of places to shop about 10 minutes away in basically all directions. Cons: I'm disgusting at the recent change to make us pay to park because there is no need for that. There is tons of parking. To me this is just petty greed. I could understand if it was limited but its not. The cleaning staff is nice but most dont seem to speak English so its like pantomiming if you need something. The laundry room needs better tending too. Every time so far there are dryers that dont work adequately. I let them know last time about this but the maintenance guy ignored me trying to tell him that yes there was heat coming out but three dryers cycles later and my clothes were still wet; he refunded my money but left it like that and walked away saying it was fine. Overall, we will still come back because the pros outweighs the few cons for sure.

Everything was fine with the room and other amenities, except now you pay $10 a day to park in a large lot and their cloths dryers stink, I ran one for 3 50 minute cycles for $4.50 and the cloths were still damp
