Basic but great option in downtown Vancouver! Very good value, quiet, clean and comfortable, I had reservations initially about a shared (semi-private) bath but it was very secure and fine (more like a shared suite than hall bath).

Shared bathroom - one washroom with toilet/sink/shower and another bathroom with only bathtub/shower on the floor that I could see. Luckily I arrived very late and left pretty early but could see the shared bathroom being an issue if multiple people need to use the toilet at the same time. However, it is nice that there is a sink in the hotel room so that you only need to use the shared bath for toilet or showering.

I think the pricing was really skewed. This is a hostel-hotel the rooms are small and clean, the semi-shared bathrooms were a little uncomfortable with thin walls. The shower area could have used a some maintenance and there’s not a lot of space. I was excited for the kitchen space as I was staying for longer and like a home-cooked meal but there was no cutlery or dining utensils and the most barebones of cooking. There was a small knife but no chopping board, no place to dry dishes —this did not feel like a space meant to be used. I wouldn’t feel this cheated if it wasn’t 300-400 a night…
