Solo stay

I checked in on a Sunday with Daniela and the room was not ready yet so I told her I’m going to hop on hop off bus to tour the city. She said she can sell it also but she overcharged me. On Sundays-Mondays, the extra for the price is supposed to be $2 + $89 as the regular price, instead she charged me plus $4. I even told the hop on. Hop off bus and they said I was overpriced. Upon checking out, the guy on the front desk was not too friendly but okay. The room was very clean and the cleaning lady was very accommodating when the first day I don’t want it clean as I’m just resting in my room. The room was overpriced I think but everything in Vancouver is very expensive.

beautiful room very comfortable very clean, staff were very helpful advising us where to eat, breakfast was included but our flight was really early so we did not manage to have the breakfast. would highly recommend this hotel as location perfect everything was perfect

Stayed with family

Very friendly staff that was helpful with directions, taxi service and smooth check-in. The included breakfast each morning was fantastic. It was not your cookie cutter modern hotel, it had character. Only downside was the traffic noise in the room. It was on a very busy intersection with lots of commercial traffic and the windows did not block the road sounds.

We had an excellent stay! The staff was warm and helpful. To be honest, I was blown away by breakfast--I'm use to cold cereal and sadness at hotel breakfast, so the complex and health-mindful breakfast was brilliant. Set us off on a good foot for our adventure. We will certainly remember it when we're back in the area!

Fantastic

Solo stay

I had a nice, quick stay at the St Regis. It’s in a great location, very central and walkable to many restaurants. The room is on the smaller side which is what you would expect from a boutique style hotel. Bed is comfortable and room is clean. The room rate included made to order breakfast which was a nice bonus.

Really great place to stay!! The staff are amazing and professional. Check-in was great, the room was very clean and every detail was attended to. You could see that they pay attention to small details. Room while smaller than I’m used to had every thing we needed. Comfortable furnishings and a nice bed and bathroom. Staff was so attentive and the breakfast was excellent. Special thanks to the amazing front desk and bell person.

The hotel was fine overall, and the staff was friendly. However, we were disappointed that the property felt very old and dated, which wasn’t obvious when booking. There was also an unpleasant smell in the lobby/common areas when you walked in. The surrounding neighborhood didn’t feel very clean or inviting compared to other areas we’ve stayed in. It worked for our trip, but knowing these things ahead of time would have influenced our decision.
