Good The pool area is being renovated (we knew this in advance) which led to detours around the property and construction noise. Room was tired, carpet stained, and there was an odor that might have been paint or might have been mold.
No bath mat. No shower cap. No bar soap, just liquid body wash. Toilet was running when we got there due to faulty flush mechanism. Breakfast was adequate.
However, bed was comfortable and the room served its purpose.
It’s a TraveLodge and hits that benchmark

Great The staff was helpful. They gave us an hour late check out so we wouldn't need to store our bags before we needed to leave for the airport. There was a big renovation going on in the resort so we had to lug our bags all the way around the perimeter of the hotel to get to our room. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The heart of Darwin CBD was 5-10 minute walk away. I would probably stay in that area next time I’m in town.

Fantastic Love the quiet of this hotel, we had a room on the third floor at end of corridor. The rooms were big and clean. Both Beds comfortable. We arrived late first night and the food from the restaurant was good. Got a hire car day 2 and able to park in the hotel grounds

Good It's clear that this is a new hotel that's recently been taken over by new management, and they're currently working on renovating. The place is a resort complex that badly needs refreshing. The townhouse lofts are nice, but due to construction, they are difficult to get to, particularly if you check in later in the day. I don't want to be too harsh; this place could really be something if the new management does the work.

Good Pool was under construction despite being advertised as a selling point of the hotel. Was informed by an automated massage after making the booking - disappointing

Below average I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at The Leea.
While we were aware prior to arrival that the swimming pool would be unavailable due to refurbishment works and appreciated being offered access to an alternative facility, several other issues significantly impacted our stay.
Without any prior notice, roof pressure-cleaning works were carried out during our stay. The noise was extremely disruptive, and our room window was completely covered with plastic sheeting for the duration of our visit, leaving us with no view whatsoever. This should have been communicated before arrival so guests could make an informed decision.
My son and I shared a room with two queen-sized beds. While my son's bed was comfortable and properly prepared, I struggled to sleep well and later discovered my bed had been fitted with only a single-bed doona. This basic housekeeping oversight was disappointing and below the standard expected.
We also encountered issues with room service. After placing an order using the QR code menu and receiving confirmation, we were later advised that the chef would not prepare approximately half of the items ordered. No explanation, apology, or alternatives were offered.
Although improvements are clearly being made to the pool area, much of the property appears dated. Given the rates charged, I expected a significantly higher standard of accommodation, communication, and service.
Overall, the experience did not represent value for money.

Lovely stay close walking distance to the Mall. One thing though, we didn't realise the pool was out of action until after we booked. Didn't worry us but might worry others.

Below averageStayed with kids
The hotel is a construction site and there was no prior notice of this before checking in. No pool to use and we had to navigate around tradies painting the exterior walls, the roof and pathways being high pressure washed and the sound of power tools from 7.15am. Not exactly the enjoyable stay we were expecting.

Below averageStayed with kids
Was not informed that there were renovations so no pool or bar area. The restaurant was good. Across from shops. There is a paid laundry and the room has a coffee machine and kettle but no toasted. Kids were placed in a room down the other end of the hall from our room so not together.
