What people are saying about Food Tours in Bali

Could not recommend this tour enough! Our tour guide Komang exceeded every single one of our expectations, from punctuality to flexibility. Pick up was prompt at our villa in Seminyak Square where we headed for a 30mins drive to Sanur for some local breakfast whilst we waited for the speedboat to arrive. Speedboat ride was fast and seamless, typically prone to sea sickness, Komang was able to liaise with the Captain for the best seat on board for us - upstairs! Komang was a true professional, with incredible knowledge not only about Nusa Penida island but also Bali wide. He was able to educate us about local customs such as religious practices, it was such a pleasure listening to him talk. The island itself was a piece of paradise, and the pacing is left entirely to you, with Komang guiding you every step of the way, presenting you with alternate destinations the whole day through. Please give this tour a go at least once when you are in town, support locals such as beautiful Komang and his crew. We will certainly be back again, but this time for maybe East Nusa Penida as oppose to the stunning West. P.S Both Komang and Waiyan (Island driver) were exceptional photographers! Bent over backwards for us (quite literally) for these perfect Insta shots.

It was such a very good tour for me. I especially wanna say big thank to Mr.Wira. His religion is Balinese Hinduism, apparently he can help me to know well about Bali culture. Even he was very kind to buy a Bali grapefruit for me to taste :D Also Wira is an awesome photographer, will help you to have beautiful photos during the trip. Last but not least, Wira is a gentleman guy ;) Once again, thank you so much for the trip.

I had a wonderful time with this package tour I got on Klook. My guide, Madi, was very friendly and helpful. He picked me up on my hotel on-time and he drove all throughout the day very carefully. He was very very kind to take pictures of me on all the places we went to - this was a plus point as I was travelling alone. I did not need to tale selfies anymore tee hee. The places included on this package were mainly for Bali culture exploration such as what to experience on the water temple and the Bali heritage monument and museum as well as the markets. Foodies will enjoy the Jimbaran beach sunset dinner as the seafood dinner was great - including of course the spectacular view while eating. Overall, I highly recommend this package for people who want to explore the Bali culture and have a taste of their food as well.

If there were 10 stars, I would give this trip 10/10. This was the best trip ever in Bali, the people involved in making this trip a success were so friendly, considerate and took beautiful pictures and you don't even need English to communicate or understand each other. From our driver who picked us up at our homestay Dewa Alit to Sanur Harbor...to Dex Pacel who meet us at the Island ( Nusa Penida) he played great music for us and took us to the Banah Cliff...I was scared to go down and he was so patient with me and understood my fears, then we were off to the motorbike rides to Tembeling beach....the rides are amazing..the road is crazy when you go down but worth it...forgot my drivers name but my friend's driver was Anna..he took amazing...amazing Instagram photos and he was giving us some instructions too ☺️☺️....we then had lunch...the menu can be improved but we were full...then Dex took us to the famous Instagram beach Nusa penida....wow...that place is breathtaking, I mean you have to see it. 👌👏👏👌. Then it was back to the boat, back to Sanur and we meet our driver, he took us 'home'. Basically everything was taken care of, for us was to pitch up..

Our driver, Komang Tri, was very friendly and helpful throughout the tour. My partner and I both felt comfortable and safe in the air conditioned car drive. On our day tour Komang went above and beyond showing us around the temple, museum and markets. He was happy to answer any questions we had about Balinese culture.  Because we had extra time available Komang offered to take us to a few extra places which included a coffee plantation and garment shop where the fabricis are woven and or painted by hand.  Before going back to our hotel we were able to enjoy some fresh traditional foods - Babi guling (Balinese roasted pork) and jajan pasar (sweet foods) as well as fresh fruits from the market. If you are interested in getting to know more about the Indonesian people and their culture I recommend this tour and tour guide.

This tour is excellent, especially during this time when it's not as crowded as usual. You can visit west and east nusa penida in a day and have many instagramable photos. I'd recommend this tour instead of the other one which you have to choose between east or west nusa penida, because they're both equally awesome.
