We went to Tokyo Joypolis which is located in DECKS at Odaiba.
It is an indooor amusement park.
Going this place is very accessible by public transport.
We went to Tokyo Joypolis at 10am so that we can maximize all the rides. It is very easy to get inside as we only need to show our voucher. No lines.
Inside Joypolis, we tried the following attractions:
- Pirate's plunder
- Spicy Taxi
- Zero Latency VR
- Tower Tag VR E sports
- The house of the dead 4 SP
- Sonic athletics
- Transformers Human Alliance Special
The Joypolis staff are very friendly
Enjoyed every minute! The rides are fun for both adults and young ones. Plus I don't need to worry about the heat of the sun nor getting wet from the rain because the rides are indoors. Don't miss these rides: Gekion Live Coaster and Halfpipe Tokyo at the GF, Transformers Human Alliance at the 2F, Wilding and Wild Jungle Hunt 3D rides at 3F
Such a cute place to visit while in Tokyo. Even the meals served at the food court are adorable (a little bit on the expensive side, but still tasty and cute). It was raining the day we went, however with it being indoors, the weather wasnt an issue. It takes about an hour to get there by train from central Tokyo, and requires a few train change overs depending on where you’re coming from. Any Hello Kitty/Sanrio fan will enjoy visiting this place.
An amusement park suitable especially for young people like our children. A little far from Tokyo but not difficult to reach with the Tokyo JR metro and metro network. From the Yomiuriland station to the park it is better to use skytrain which allows us to see Tokyo from a height. The most popular attraction for young people is the roller coaster that rises to almost the same height as the skytrain and rotates around the amusement park. There are also many affordable food and beverage choices available so you don't have to worry if you haven't eaten. What is fun for us is the convenience and year-end discounts when we buy night-pass tickets through Klook (which is also easily exchanged for entry passes at the amusement park counters). Thanks Klook for granting my kids a great experience!
Getting there: A bit far from Tokyo City Center. But, since there’s no traffic, travel time is fast. Took a taxi cab, paid about 14,000 yen from our hotel in Ginza to Puroland. And paid the same amount going back. So, more or less 30,000 yen back and forth via taxi.
The Place: Kids will surely love Sanrio Puroland. It has four floors. The main entrance is at the 3rd floor. There’s a restaurant at the 4th floor, but be prepared for long lines of people buying food and wait for tables to become available. Gift shops featuring Sanrio characters available everywhere. Kids will surely enjoy the attractions and activities.
quick/immediate entry to Puroland.. my young daughter and toddler son had a blast with the few rides, games, activities, shows, parade.. the adults had fun shopping.. somehow I expected a big, park-like place.. it was more of a multi-story but compact indoor playplace with an overload of cuteness! you can easily spend the day at ease in this place, and let your kids loose (I wish! not advisable as there were a lot of people!).. over-all, easily a day of kawaii fun - not to be missed when in Tokyo!
