The food tour was awesome! and we were quite apolegetic that we could not finish any of the food (which was of no fault of the guide, at all)
Our guide Arif was a nice young gentlemen which share a little about the history of old delhi with us and introduced us to the delhi metro. It helped in the later days while we were travelling in delhi.
One star short of 5 as I think it would be nicer if the guide could explain a little more about how the food came about, what is the contents of the food without the tourist asking. And... why does Indians love sweets sooooo much?!
Other than that, the tour was good!
Advised travelers to contact the local tour agency to confirm a day prior the tour. My driver didn’t appear in my hotel lobby at 3pm till i called the agency appointed by Klook. He arrived at 3.30pm defending himself that we were not found at hotel lobby which was falsely claimed. We were seated in lobby since 2.50pm.
Overall tour by the guide was good as he was able to explained the history of redfort in good English. It was also an adventurous walked from redfort to the spice market, the pavement is under construction hence the side alley were packed with the locals. To be honest as a female traveler, its not very pleasant to be squashed among the locals at all. Advised to take the tuk tuk no matter what the guide tells you about the bad traffic jam. If you really want to walk on Chandi ChowkSt, do it only if you have a male companion staying behind you throughout the journey.
