Create masterpieces that embody the true Khmer spirit at a ceramic pottery class held right in the heart of the city! As soon as you enter the studio, you'll find detailed illustrations that take you through the process of ceramic making, from shaping it on the pottery wheel all the way until firing and glazing the finished product. Put on your apron, choose a wheel, and get ready to get your hands dirty! Experienced instructors will guide you as you mold your very own Angkorian bowl. Once you're satisfied with your shape, you can start carving Khmer designs to your creations to make them even more unique. Put on the finishing touches, and choose a piece to turn over to the professionals, who will fire and glaze your pottery until it's ready for pick up the following day. No special skills are required for this activity, and even kids are welcome to partake in this cultural discovery! For an even more comfortable experience, hotel pick up and drop off services are available for your convenience.

What people are saying about Art Classes in Siem Reap
A really wonderful experience to do with your family and loved ones. Interaction with the deaf and mute instructors were also easy. They offered to send our pieces to Phnom Penh at at cheaper rate (compare to USD30+ to ship home) but we didn't take it as we're staying at an Airbnb and there's no one to collect it. It's my favourite experience in Siem Reap.
Taking the pottery class was definitely one of the highlights of our Siem Reap trip! The staff were really friendly and the teachers (who were deaf-mute) were patient enough to teach beginners like us, the class wasn’t intimidating. My cousins and I had a fun time making pots and designing them afterwards. Kudos to the school for supporting the deaf-mute community and giving them livelihood! 👏💯👌
The class was fun and engaging even tho there was communication barrier, we could still roughly catch the instructions that was given by our instructor. She was really patient and would totally recommend this activity when in Siem Reap, away from the heat! The class ended in less than 2hrs. We were told to do 5 pottery and was able to choose 1 of our favourite to bring it home but do take note that collection is the next day after 5pm. For those who couldn’t make it and doesn’t want to pay USD$35 for 1kg worth of shipping back to your home country, you can choose anything that’s less than USD$10 from their store front.
Really fun experience, the instructors are mostly deaf and mute but they are really patient with us, first timers at pottery! Held my hand and guided me through each step to create 5 beautiful pieces! Got the chance to use the traditional pottery wheel that functions manually as well. I will definitely go back for another round if I am in Siem Reap again!
There is free of our pottery within Cambodia. Because we left for Phnom Penh the next day, the studio arranged our pottery to be delivered from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. Do allow 2 day allowance as the pottery arrived 1 day late. The Instructors were dumb/deaf but tried their best to guide us. They were very professional.
The ceramics class was one of the highlights of our trip. Lasting about 1hr 45mins we were taught how to create 5 pieces by persons who were mute and deaf which meant the whole experience was very much hands on!! Our lovely instructor salvaged some of our attempts and we picked our favourite creations to have fired to take home. As collection of the finished pieces was the following day we had to have ours shipped home but that was a simple process: a form to fill out and pay a small shipping fee.
A brilliant and relaxing way to spend an afternoon in Siem Reap.
