About the event
Dive into the Pangaea world filled with colossal insects and diverse animal species that roamed the Earth between 300 and 250 million years ago, during the late Carboniferous and early Permian periods. At that time, our planet was home to some truly gigantic bugs.
This was the age of Pangaea, the supercontinent, when the environment was drastically different; the atmosphere had nearly one-third more oxygen than it does today. This abundance of oxygen served as a growth enhancer for insects, enabling them to attain sizes that are nearly unfathomable in our current era. Imagine a dragonfly as large as an eagle and as long as a car—this was commonplace back then. It was a true land of giants, but specifically for insects.
Embark on a journey back 300 million years to uncover a variety of insect and creature species from the Pangaea era and discover how they relate to modern insects and their crucial role in our ecosystem.
This educational exhibition is ideal for all ages, including science lovers and historians. We have carefully recreated these larger-than-life bugs to ignite public interest in the scientific community and to emphasize the importance of insects in our food chain.
The exhibition is divided into 4 Segment, 4 Special family friendly activities and 3 common area activities which will be packaged from Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond to VIP Platinum. Visitors will have the liberty to choose which segments and activities they want to explore based on their budget.
The exhibition is ideal for both kids and adults, school excursions, science enthusiasts, kids’ birthday parties and family outings.
