Mira Place’s annual music extravaganza Gimme LiVe Music Festival enters its 12th year with an extraordinary line-up that stays true to the vision of campaign. Committed to supporting the local music industry, Mira Place has hosted Hong Kong’s first mall music festival since 2013, which has featured over 200 singers and bands over the past 11 years. This year’s Gimme LiVe Music Festival, themed “Where it all Began”, will bring music fans four revolutionary breakthroughs over four consecutive Saturdays from 10 August with 20 performing units: (1) Popular singers such as Kaho Hung, Yan Ting, Archie Sin and Zpecial, will make a grand return while shining the spotlight on up-and-coming singers, igniting new sparks on the Gimme LiVe stage and passing on the dream of music. (2) An unparalleled star-studded audience experience with an interactive stage that connects fans’ mobile phones to the big screen, allowing them to send their support directly to the performers and enhance interaction during show. In addition, an IGable recording studio will allow visitors to take photos and reminisce about past performers and other Gimme LiVe festival highlights, witnessing the music journey of their idols. (3) Fans can unlock star-worthy fan benefits by participating in online and offline interactive games to win exclusive photos or gifts from their favourite singers. (4) Offering star-level shopping privileges for fans to enjoy, including giveaway on complimentary merchant vouchers pack, and show tickets or beverage vouchers upon spending a designated amount. About the organiser
Mira Place’s Gimme LiVe Music Festival made its debut in 2013 as Hong Kong’s first ever in-mall Music Festival. It takes its inspiration from the gesture ‘Gimme Five’, a simple way to communicate happiness and encouragement. However, nowadays, the cold screens of our mobile devices discouraged us to create bonding with others. Hence, we’ve named the Music Festival as Gimme LiVe, to foster communication between each other.
