Welcome to our Potehi workshop, where we delve into the enchanting world of traditional Chinese hand puppetry. Potehi, also known as glove puppetry, is a centuries-old art form that originated in China and has been passed down through generations. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore the rich history, intricate craftsmanship, and captivating performances that define Potehi puppetry.

During the workshop, you will enjoy a short performance of "The Tiger Hero" (武松打虎), an excerpt from the Chinese classical literature "The Water Margin" (水浒传). Following the performance, you will have the chance to learn how to manipulate hand puppets, gaining hands-on experience with this fascinating art form.

Tickets sold are non-refundable.
