About the event
A myth. An insatiable desire for blood. A beautiful-looking woman with supernatural abilities to detach her head. The Finger Players and Joe Louis Theatre Company present a WIP puppetry presentation that depicts different interpretations of the infamous folklores Krasue and Penanggalan. This horrifying yet beautiful two-part showcase combines contemporary and traditional elements of puppetry. It is part of Phase 1 of a three-year collaboration, between the two companies, which will culminate to a finale production happening in 2025.
At the end of the presentation, there will be a post-presentation discussion by our Artistic Director, Oliver Chong.
Ticket holders are highly encouraged to support the presentation by donating at the door. Thank you for your generous support.
