Colonial Cousins is an Indian music duo consisting of Hariharan and Leslee Lewis. They are known for blending Indian classical music with contemporary Western music. It was formed in the mid-1990s and released their debut album, "Colonial Cousins", in 1996, which included hits like the “Way We Do it”, “Once More”, “The Gems” and others. The album was a commercial success and won several awards, including the MTV Asia Viewer's Choice Award.

They were the first Asian band to perform on MTV unplugged UK in 1996 and for the BILLBOARD AWARDS IN Las Vegas. They have been widely praised for their unique style and ability to blend different musical genres.
