Paraphrasing Exhibition Introduction

If painting is a sentence, what kind of vocabulary should be filled in, what kind of blank should be left, how to break the sentence, and what kind of language sense it can produce. It may be that multiple languages coexist at the same time, or it may be a newly created unknown. Complex and concise, clear and contradictory. Yes and no.

This exhibition brings together the works of six Hong Kong and Taiwanese artists, all of whom stand at a crossroads, talk about the possibilities and impossibilities of painting as a medium, and then re-imagine them again. Everyday landscape, sketch, sketch, traces of graphite, matter, dry and wet, spirit, function, space, circulation.
