The driver was Raymond, and the best Korean-tailored bullet delivery driver👍 If I could speak English well, I think I would have enjoyed Hobbiton and the cave more while listening to the guide's explanation, but I had to go around as I pleased, so it was a little disappointing. The scenery was amazing, and I was satisfied with the pictures I took at every place I went, and the price was much cheaper than other packages, so it was the most satisfying trip. Honestly, I'm not sure if I would go again if I had the chance, but I think I wouldn't regret going at least once.

We met a very friendly tour guide! His name is Mike👍🏻👍🏻I carelessly lost my scarf in the Cave then he helped to send me the scarf directly to my motel. Bravo👏🏻👏🏻

This group departed from Auckland at 6am. It may not be the peak tourist season, there were only three of us, so it was considered a private tour. The tour bus has 10 seats (not including the driver and the co-driver), which is very spacious. The driver of this group, Raymond, was very friendly and briefly introduced the itinerary for today. Since it was still early, the journey took two and a half hours from Auckland Sky City Hotel, and we could catch up on sleep in the car. When we were about to visit Hobbiton, Raymond introduced the background of Hobbiton and led us to board the tour bus for a guided tour arranged by the park. The tour guide Emma was friendly and dedicated. She worked hard to introduce Hobbiton even when it was raining heavily. Due to the rain, we could not stay outdoors for too long, which was a pity. If you are a fan of the Hobbit movie, you will definitely be satisfied. At the end of the guided tour, there were free drinks to enjoy. In addition, the easter egg was that the park was undergoing maintenance and optimization projects, and each person who completed the guided tour was given a commemorative cup. Later we went to the Glowworm Cave. I had read about it online and it was worth a visit. Unfortunately, due to the rain, we couldn’t visit the entire cave by boat. What a pity.

It was great. There was a table with GreatSights and staff near the Sky Tower, the meeting place, early in the morning. After checking in, you will be given water and biscuits. Along the way, the driver and tour guide will introduce the scenery along the way and New Zealand stories. It was professional and safe. The time was well managed and not too rushed and there was plenty of time. The lunch box was delicious.

Super fun tour! We had Dave as our guide and he was really efficient and knowledgeable about everything, and also brought us to spots that weren't part of the original tour since we had extra time! Dave also provided us bottled water and snacks and helped us take photos throughout the tour. Would love to travel with him again :)

The attractions are located 2-3 hours away from Auckland, so be prepared to spend half of the day on the bus. There are guided tours for the glowworm caves and cultural village/geothermal fountains, and the cheeky kiwi driver Simon also shared some trivia about Auckland and NZ on the bus.

Excellent, and highly recommended - Small group tour (maximum is 6-8) with Ash, an experienced guide who is very friendly and helpful. All the needed equipment is provided, including cave exploration outfit, boots, and helmet with flashlight. Seeing the underground cave system was both humbling and awe-inspiring; the glow-worms looked like constellations on the cave ceiling.
