If you’re wondering what a Dalgona Coffee is, it is originally from South Korea. Some call it 'a reverse latte' where steamed milk is replaced by iced milk and frothed coffee takes over regular coffee. 
    Dalgona is a popular Korean street candy, similar to toffee or honeycomb, but its caffeinated version is what you have been seeing trending on your Instagram and Facebook.
    But guess what, we have just discovered three ways even non-coffee drinkers can sip on the popular Dalgona Coffee as you work from home.

    Here's how you can whip up the original Dalgona Coffee recipe with just THREE simple steps!
    What You Need: 
    • 2 tbsp of instant coffee powder
    • 2 tbsp white sugar
    • 2 tbsp hot water
    • Milk

    What You Need: 
    • 1 or 2 tea bags, depending on how strong you like it
    • 1 tbsp sugar
    • 2 tbsp hot water
    • Milk 
    • Ice
    • Half cup heavy cream or 1 egg white
    How To Do It: 
    1. Boil water, sugar and tea bags until it turns into a syrup.
    2. Whip the heavy cream (or egg) until it gets fluffy.
    3. Add the tea syrup in the cream and mix it well.
    4. Pour the mixture into a glass of milk and ice.

    • 2 tbsp Bournvita or cocoa powder
    • 2 tbsp sugar

    1. Combine Bournvita or cocoa powder, sugar, and hot water into a bowl and whisk until light and fluffy.

    This one's for a delight for matcha (or green tea) lovers and is the perfect way to get you through these gruelling work from home days.
    What You Need: 
    • 1 tsp matcha powder
    • 1 egg white (or half cup of heavy cream)
    • ¼ cup sugar
    • ¼ cup water
    • Milk 
    • Ice
    How To Do It:
    1. Beat the egg white until it becomes frothy then fluffy. You can use an electric mixer to achieve this faster. 
    2. Combine the water and sugar and put on low heat. Let the syrup simmer for 5 minutes without stirring. 
    3. Slowly drizzle the syrup into the beaten egg white, while mixing until the mixture turns fluffy and glossy.
    4. Add the matcha powder into the mixture until blended and smooth. Note: If you are using heavy cream, whip the cream with matcha powder and sugar until it becomes fluffy.
    5. Pour this mixture into a glass of milk and ice.
