Hartleys Crocodile Adventures Full or Half Day Tour

Best last min decision ever to book this transfer. Mr Lindsay, the driver, was very nice to share a lot during the bus ride about Cairns, Hartley's and introduce sightseeing places too. The crocodile wildlife park was fun, the boat ride at the lagoon and the crocodile attack show are must-see/do! There is even a kangaroo and wallaby area for you to get up close to them, not forgetting koala which you can pay to take picture with them!

I chose the half-day tour with hotel-to-park transfer. (There's no on-site guidance, just the transfer! If you need a detailed guide, I recommend a different plan.) The crocodile show was incredibly impressive! Besides crocodiles, we saw many other animals like koalas and kangaroos. Since it was a half-day tour, we had to rush through the park a bit, which made it feel a little hectic.

It was a great day out! Highly recommended if you want to see a crocodile up close. Fantastic tour around the lagoon and staff were very friendly!

Our scheduled pickup time was 11:40 AM (which had been confirmed countless times!!). We arrived at the designated meeting point around 11:35 AM, but didn't get into the vehicle until about 12:13 PM. I understand that other passengers would be picked up along the way, but I felt this delay was a bit excessive. If the time was changed without notifying us in advance, that's really quite poor. Aside from that, the Crocodile Park itself is great and well worth visiting! However, there's basically no signal or internet throughout the park, so you can fully enjoy the experience without distractions. The half-day itinerary is just right for a leisurely stroll, and the afternoon show is excellent!

It was not like a typical tour where a guide would be there to look after you all the time. Each location was divided into different roles, and we had to change vehicles by ourselves. I don't think there was any explanation of that on the website. This time the train was delayed, and the schedule changed drastically afterwards. There was no instruction on what to do next, and no support, so it was difficult. There were no signs or guides. If you are not used to traveling or are not good at English, you should definitely avoid this tour. The zoo itself was fun.
