Yeepeng Lanna Festival Chiang Mai

No one showed us how to get on the bus. No one greeted us when we arrived. They told us about our next itinerary. The dining area was different and there was no guidance. But it’s all worth it when you release your sky lantern.

On this tour, I experienced the Yi Peng Festival for the first time. The sight of countless Kom Roi soaring in the night sky was very magical. It was a very good memory to conclude my 5 years living in Thailand.

It was an amazing, magical experience! It felt like we were transported to another world to release the lanterns into the air.

The sky lantern lighting part of the entire event was very exciting, and the performance showed the sincerity of the organizer. It was very interesting to start the sky lantern lighting session after the monks chanted sutras. However, the registration and tour bus arrangements were a little confusing, and the staff were a little confused and lacked prompts, leaving tourists a little confused.

The price/performance ratio is not worth it. I was disappointed. I was originally scheduled to get on the bus at 4 o'clock, but there was no instruction or staff to arrange the boarding. I waited in front of the hotel parking lot for 40 minutes before the staff handed the event sign to the driver and put it on the car before arranging the participants. We got on the bus and arrived at the venue at 5:40. There was no sign of water lanterns and no stalls for Northern Thai snacks. The atmosphere was average and the food for dinner was average. The only atmosphere was when the sky lanterns were released, but the number of sky lanterns was limited. There is a gap with imagination. The light is too bright and affects the effect of sky lanterns + fireworks in the sky. The car on the return trip was full but we still had to wait 20 minutes before driving. The driver who arrived at the hotel asked him to turn into the hotel intersection. The unique experience is lacking.

I liked the mass lantern release with the fireworks as the background. However, food wise - it's not worth the price. Though the program was good as I get to watch their customized dances and show.

It’s really beautiful to see everyone setting off sky lanterns together. The only pity is that there was no one to guide us when we first gathered. Many people didn’t know how to line up and take the bus, and spent a lot of time waiting.

It's a very special experience. There are about 1,000 people releasing sky lanterns together. It would be better if there were more people, but it's not shocking enough.

Very disappointed. Watching sky lanterns online is two different things than using klook. I feel as if I have more money than money to participate in the company's spring tea (-). Arrive at the gathering at 4 o'clock on time > After a round of hustle and bustle, get on the bus by yourself (-) > When you arrive at the venue, there is no one to lead you and ask you to bring water lanterns to put them out together. After you put them out, you go first (-) > Wait until 5:30 and enter the food area by yourself > Food The quality is pretty good and the service is good (+)> There is a performance in front of the stage but the scale is too small> The seating arrangement is also not good, it’s like watching a concert so people at the back are less engaged (-)> The two in the middle Wait for 1 hour to stay fast (-)> Wait until half past eight and let the sky lanterns go out together (+)> But there is no instruction, many people don’t know how to light the fire on the left (-)> Put out the fire quickly (+)> Everyone The three lights can be put on and off again, but two people need to put them on at the same time, that is, 6 times (+)> But the first two lights have the host number 123 and they can be put on at the same time, and there are no people involved in the rest. Fireworks, so you can’t see the scene of tens of thousands of people setting off their lights (-)> After the show, it was chaotic. I hired my own car but it didn’t have the same logo, because there were many agencies doing it at the same time, and no one would help you find your own agency. Even when I got the car, I couldn't get in because the left door was fully locked, but I couldn't drive (-). Sorry, no wonder Klook is just setting up a venue that looks stunning:)
