Phnom Penh Half Day City Tour by Tuk Tuk

I had a great experience on this tour! The guide was on time, very polite, and made sure to show us all the destinations marked on the itinerary. He even treated us to a fresh coconut drink, which was a lovely surprise. He was friendly, respectful, and made the whole experience enjoyable and comfortable. I would definitely love to book a tour with him again — I only wish I had remembered to ask for his name!.

Everything was fine. They picked me up from the designated place, drove me to all the points, immediately discussed the meeting places, immediately told me not to rush and look around at my own pace, after the tour ended he took me to the designated address.

A great way to see Phnom Penh! Travelling by tuk-tuk lets you feel the breeze in the warm weather, and still be part of the local life as all scooters are passing you by in the hectic traffic. The ride was actually so comfortable that both our kids fell asleep. The booking was hassle free, the communication via WhatsApp as well. The driver was right on time, they knew our names so I didn’t have to show my voucher. We were only us and one single guy travelling today which made it feel like a private tour. The guide was knowledgeable and both informed about places and gave us time to explore on our own. We went in a pace suitable for the children which was appreciated! It was easy to pay the entrance fees in the sites as noted in the description. The guide showed us exactly where to go, what the price was and how to do. Both Cambodian money and USD are widely accepted everywhere. Due to the heat, the guide held all information in the shadows which was good. It’s quite a long half day but interesting places! We didn’t get any water as advertised, but had brought our own so it wasn’t any problem - and it was in addition handed out at the palace to all visitors. We got th impression that the guide would show us the market but we were there on our own. I believe it was due to that the other traveller had booked one extra place to see and the guide followed him there while we strolled around at the market. I usually prefer walk on my own in markets, but it is also good to have a guide who knows the procedures, where to go for what and how to negotiate prices. All in all we are very pleased with our tour and warmly recommend it to others!

great experience on a tuk tuk with a good english speaking guide. Lucky that it is public holiday and non peak season, roads are rather clear, thus making travelling on a tuk tuk a great experience. Else, cannot imagine the color of the makeup remover when i cleanse my face at the end of the tour :)

I enjoyed the tour, even though we only have a few hours. The guide Martin is very detailed about the history and culture.

The tuk-tuk driver was friendly and knowledgeable, even though we didn't have a dedicated tour guide. He took us to all the major sights, including the Royal Palace, market, monument,etc. The tuk-tuk itself was comfortable and provided a fun, open-air way to see the city. We enjoyed the breeze and the views as we zipped through the streets. One thing to note is that without a dedicated tour guide, we didn't get as much in-depth information about the sights as we might have liked. However, the driver did provide some basic information and insights, and we were free to explore each stop at our own pace. Overall, I'd recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun, laid-back way to see Phnom Penh's main attractions. Just be aware that you might not get as much detailed information as you would with a guided tour.
