Every year, Whisky Magazine collaborates with different distilleries to release a single cask bottling dedicated to the event. The panel selects the finest cask from hundreds, resulting in a collectible, limited-edition release, which is of great value and limited to only a few hundred bottles. To celebrate Whisky Live Hong Kong 2024, the organizers have curated a special bottle from Sakurao Distillery in Hiroshima, Japan. Distilled in 2022 and aged in a Bordeaux red wine cask, this collectible single-barrel whisky is limited to only 180 bottles, bundled with tickets. With aromas of red fruit cake, raisins, and sweet spices, the palate is rich and refined, featuring notes of red fruit, raspberry, sweet clove, cinnamon, and a touch of fine tannin. Reviews
It’s a great event since we got to taste a great variety of whisky from different vendors. Looking forward to joining the one next year!
There are fewer wine merchants participating in the exhibition this year than in previous years, and there are also fewer styles. The Klook purchase process is convenient, but unfortunately I couldn’t order the discount package in time, and the cost was more expensive than in previous years.
completely indulge in the whisky tasting and music
It was a lot of fun. The token can be used to try many wines, many brands, and snacks. It was super fun.
There are different types of whiskey from different countries. There are a few other foods.
Loved it! Lots of exciting stuff to taste. Everyone there were true whiskey lover. The vibre was lovely.
It’s a lot of fun. Although you need three tokens, there are many free tastings at the venue, so you don’t have to spend extra. You can also communicate with exhibitors, learn things, and watch performances.
Nice event and will join next time!
easy to use and cheaper on price
This is my first time to participate in this activity. It is a very satisfying experience and I can try wines from different countries!
