Reviews
We had the best tour of Pena Palace and Quinta de Regalaria + the town center of Sintra. I have to say, our tour guide "J-Lo" was the icing on the cake of this incredible experience. He was so much fun and made it very easy to navigate. This was the perfect amount of time to spend in Sintra.
Joao was an amazing guide and equally amazing guy. He helped with all our questions, queries and little anecdotes about every place we visited. It was really a great experience, I would highly recommend if you want to fit Sintra and Cascais in one day and not feel rushed.
lots of places covered was a great trip but very tiring due to heavy traffic. Catarina was an amazing local guide and great story teller that helped us with the importance of each place that we visited including history of Portugal.Good morning tea pastry and lunch recommendations provided n met some lovely people from all around the world in this trip. there is a lot of climbing n walking so prople should wear comfortable sports shoes
Amazing experience! Maria, our tour lead, was outstanding. She made sure we got the most out of Sintra—we had coffee and pastries at an amazing café, took a breezy walk up to Palácio da Quinta, and then she dropped us off at Pena Palace, where we enjoyed the surroundings before starting our tour. The pit stop at Guincho Beach was exciting—we experienced strong winds! Next, we went to Cascais, where Maria gave excellent lunch recommendations. We opted for a chicken dish, and omg, it was so, so good! We had plenty of time to explore Cascais and truly had an amazing day guided by Maria Alfama. Could not recommend her enough!
We are a family of 4 going on a day trip with our tour guide Catarina to Sintra and Cascais. it’s an enjoyable journey with beautiful scenery. Catarina gave us suggestions of where to go, what to do. The restaurant suggestion was really helpful, we had a great seafood meal at a reasonable price. she also gave us different information about Portugal and the area we visited, making the enjoy enjoyable, informative and interesting.
overall enjoyed the trip. noemimilka is a nice, caring and informative tour guide. time management was well done. we enjoyed our day seeing the castles at Sintra and tried nice snacks at sintra town. Lunch was at casiacs.
our tour guide, Catarina is very knowledgeable and professional. She drives very well. We enjoyed the tour very much and learned a lot about the History of Portugal. Highly recommend as she said there is no perfect word to describe Sintra & Cascais 🫶
Good place. I do not but the ticket to enter the palace as I am not Museum fans. Time is rush too. But, i would advice to buy the ticket too as you can't buy ticket on the spots. However, I prefer Cascais more. A seaside town.
It was a beautiful place and the tour guide is very informative and friendly. Too bad it was raining when we arrived at teh park of the palace and had to walk quite a bit to the palace. Other that that, everything is smooth.
Our journey was truly delightful, especially thanks to Antonio, our driver, who was incredibly friendly, communicative, and skilled at driving. We managed to visit all the planned destinations, and Antonio also recommended a visit to the Palacio Nacional de Sintra. In addition, he suggested various local food and drinks that were both affordable and delicious. I had the chance to enjoy cheesecake at Casa Piriquita and taste ginja at a local shop. The views inside and outside the Palacio Nacional de Sintra were breathtaking. Antonio wisely advised us to purchase tickets to visit the gardens of the Palacio da Pena to avoid long queues, unless we wanted to buy tickets to enter the palace itself. Although the weather was foggy during our visit to the Palacio da Pena, we were still able to take some photos outside and enjoy snacks at the palace’s restaurant and cafeteria, which offered reasonably priced meals. During our trip to Cascais, it rained heavily, but Antonio kindly gave us a tour of the city by car. He even lent us raincoats and recommended some good local restaurants with affordable prices. I had the chance to visit Bijou de Cascais, where I enjoyed some incredibly delicious pastries. Despite the continued rain on our way back to Lisbon, Antonio graciously dropped each of us off at our respective hotels. This was a truly memorable experience, and we are very grateful for Antonio's attentive service.
