Wow, the hotel looked so luxurious and uniquely decorated the moment I stepped in! I had originally booked two beds, and the hotel staff proactively upgraded me to a larger room! They also gave us two complimentary drinks. The room felt very new, clean, and comfortable. It had a smart toilet, the shower pressure was excellent, the hairdryer was powerful, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a steam iron and an umbrella! Everything you could need was there! Since my booking included coffee and cake, which tasted great, I also got to use the gym, swimming pool, and kids' play area! The children had a wonderful time, making it perfect for families. It's truly worth recommending! I'll definitely book this hotel again if I have the chance! Many thanks to the front desk staff, especially Winnie, Rainbow, Diana, and Wendy, for giving small gifts to my children. Cleanliness: 10/10. Service: 10/10.

Through a friend's recommendation, our family of three (our goal was to try bringing our two-year-old daughter to Shenzhen for an overnight stay) booked this hotel. For around 1,000 Hong Kong dollars, staying at a five-star InterContinental hotel with a buffet breakfast included offers great value for money. During check-in, Kidd introduced us to the hotel facilities, provided welcome drink vouchers for the lobby, and gave us a cute children's bracelet as a gift. We booked a family room this time, and our child loved the room's decor, wasn't afraid of the new environment, and ran around happily. Although our stay was only a short 24 hours, we also visited the indoor pool and the children's playrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors. If we have another chance, we'd like to try other amenities next time (dinner/gym/sauna, etc.). Overall, the hotel is upscale, clean, comfortable, and the staff are polite. While taking the subway from Shenzhen Bay would take more time and require transfers, arriving by taxi within 30 minutes is much more convenient.

Intercontinental always exceed my expectations! My family of 2A2C + toddler decided to go for a short vacation for pre cny family time, buffet was incredibly sumptuous, there was a bbq station, sashimi bar, live oyster opening, freshly made pasta, lamb rack, roast beef, delicious chinese soup, noodle station, kids friendly buffet section, juices, cold seafood like scallops, prawns, mussels, crabs etc. Cold drink fridge, wine etc. everything you could ask for in a buffet spread. The dessert section was my absolute fav! pastries and cakes were top notch, I was already full but the dessert still wowed me because it was so well made. Staff was very attentive, cleared plates frequently, and was ready to serve at a glance. Conceirge services for their car transportation was impeccable, I asked if I could booked a car for my family to Huafa snow BONSKI and when I requested 1pm ride, they promoted me that it closes early at 4pm due to the eve of cny and suggested an earlier ride. 10/10 for IHG

【Room Amenities, View, and Soundproofing】The room amenities are modern, featuring a smart lighting control system and convenient electric curtains, giving it a very high-tech feel. What's particularly great is that the room's window offers direct views of the Fuhai River, and the sunset scenery in the evening is absolutely captivating. However, a minor drawback is that the soundproofing is rather average; after nightfall, it's easy to hear trucks driving and trains passing by outside. Light sleepers might be affected by the noise at night. 【Location and Recreation】The hotel's location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk to the Fuhai River bank. For someone like me who loves running, the hotel thoughtfully provides suggested running routes of 4 to 6 kilometers. Being able to jog along the riverbank while enjoying the scenery is a wonderful experience. 【Dining Experience (Buffet Dinner)】The buffet dinner included in this package was absolutely amazing! The variety of food was incredibly rich; basically, every dish you could think of was available. I especially recommend the live grilled skewers, the piping hot hotpot, the unlimited alcoholic beverages, and the fresh oysters shucked to order. The ingredients were genuinely high-quality, offering great value for money. 【Buffet Breakfast】While the buffet breakfast wasn't particularly surprising, the quality of the ingredients was excellent. You could taste the freshness and refinement, especially the onsen egg, which was perfectly prepared and left a lasting impression :) The service and hotel location were also satisfactory, making it a great value-for-money option for a weekend getaway! 【Gym Facilities and Experience】The gym equipment is all new and well-maintained. However, I encountered a small incident while using it: there were some very professional-looking fitness enthusiasts who, after each rotation of using a piece of equipment, would use large spray bottles to disinfect the equipment over a wide area. While being mindful of hygiene is good, the spray force was so strong that the fine mist and airflow directly sprayed and affected other guests exercising nearby (including myself). There might be room for improvement in terms of usage etiquette and on-site management in this regard.

This is the second time I came to this InterContinental Hotel in the International Convention and Exhibition Center to celebrate the anniversary, and enjoyed the evening and morning buffets at [Yue Restaurant]. In addition to maintaining the front desk and room service of an international five-star hotel, we appreciate excellent dishes and high-quality catering services that make you feel at home. [Yue Restaurant] uses high-end and high-quality ingredients, exquisite presentation, and excellent cooking techniques to make people enjoy the dishes (including French sapphire oysters, Beef Wellington, foie gras, and slow-cooked Angus steak) , water fish, dragonfly, Chinese stew, mushroom soup, stone ground soy milk, etc.). In addition to several signature hotel dishes, "Master Huang's secret roujiamo" is highly recommended. It is very delicious and enjoyable. In terms of service, special praise goes to Haidi Zhang and Carlin Lin for providing us with cordial, attentive, proactive and professional catering services. They all took good care of my mother kindly and carefully, which made her feel very warm. The other staff in the restaurant, including the chefs in the kitchen, are very friendly and polite, and some even introduced the dishes to us in Cantonese. The only drawback is the desserts. I originally chose this hotel to celebrate the anniversary again because I was deeply impressed by the InterContinental's signature red velvet and original cheesecake desserts last year, but this time I was a little disappointed. Although the appearance and taste of the desserts are of the quality of a five-star hotel, they are not as amazing as last year. I remember that the same senior chef in black was in charge of the dessert department last time, but he was missing this time. Except for the missing red velvet and original cheesecakes, the taste of each cake is not distinctive enough (whether it is grapefruit, earl gray tea, osmanthus or pistachio, the taste is very similar), and the texture of the cakes is similar to mousse cake, which is relatively monotonous. Although the Hong Kong Cross-Boundary Coach doesn't stop directly at the hotel, there are stops at the nearby Huafa Ice and Snow World and Shajing Wanfeng Coast City. So, it was very convenient to have lunch and watch a movie at the mall before taking a car to the hotel. We just missed the free shuttle to Huafa, but calling a car ourselves was quite inexpensive, so it wasn't too late to enjoy dinner before heading over to play. The hotel service was excellent; they knew we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, so they upgraded our room and even sent a cake, which was very thoughtful 🥰. Plus, dinner was delicious and very satisfying 😆.

Extremely satisfied with everything. If you're planning a birthday celebration, this hotel is a must-choose. Early requests are always fulfilled, and the decorations are beautiful. They even provide a small cake. The rooms are spacious, the restaurant is comfortable, the food is abundant, and the service is top-notch. It's definitely worth staying again and again.

The hotel overall is very luxurious and new. The dinner buffet offers a wide variety of dishes, including fresh, plump, and delicious oysters, tasty foie gras, and acceptable sashimi. However, the sashimi is not cut to order; it's pre-arranged for self-service, which doesn't feel very hygienic. The breakfast selection is also decent.

The front desk staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Even during the peak check-in time on a holiday, I quickly received my room key and went to my room. Thumbs up! 👍👍 The guest room's decor was practical yet luxurious. The buffet breakfast and dinner offered a wide variety of options, making it a worthwhile experience. I've already booked another stay for November.

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend with 2 kids on a promotional package for a 2-day, 1-night stay. The Executive Lounge was quite busy in the evening and isn't very large, but it was comfortable with good spacing between tables for privacy. Being able to wait in our room until a table was ready was a nice touch. There was a wide variety of options for breakfast; just be sure to avoid the peak hours. The kids had the most fun at the children's play area and the swimming pool.
