Mr. Hiro made one of my dreams come true today: driving an AE86 in Japan. At first, I was a bit worried about the left-hand traffic and the Japanese road system, and all the papers you have to sign are a bit daunting, too. But once you get over your fears, you'll be rewarded with an experience you won't soon forget! The day with the AE86 was one of the best days of my life. We had a wonderful day in Koyasan. The roads make you feel like you're Takumi Fujiwara on Mount Akina. Thank you, Mr. Hiro, for making a lifelong dream come true for me!
Great experience and amazing staff! Mr. Hiro's car rental staff was very informative and friendly. They take their time on explaining the rules and policies of the vehicle you rent out and give you a small course on traffic signs and road rules. The location is clean and easy to find and gas station up two blocks from Mr.Hiro's. You must pay insurance for the vehicle you are renting on arrival which is highly recommended especially if your like me who has never driven on the right side of the vehicle. I recommended you tubing traffic laws from Japan before renting out a car here. As I had hard to adjusting to Japan's roadway and traffic lights. They will do preinspection with you on the vehicle interior and exterior for flaws and damages before you leave. Do not be scared to point out damages before taking the vehicle as it avoid and issues later on. They will also require to fill the car two blocks down Solato with high octane before returning it back. On other notes they have a bar with food, racing sim room, lots of merch and stickers, and a mini car museum inside with beautifully stunning vehicles.
A dream come true! Driving a JDM car for a day trip was an absolute thrill! From the moment I got behind the wheel, I could feel the car's distinct performance and style. Everywhere I went, heads were turning — it's not every day you see something this unique on the road. The combination of sleek design and raw power made the experience unforgettable. If you're into cars, especially JDM, this is an experience you need to have!
Very good experience. I rented an FD3S. The overall quality of the blue car is considered very good with more than 100,000 kilometers of maintenance. Only some interior parts are almost peeling off and worn, but the mechanical parts are no problem at all. The staff who rent the car speak English very well. The process is not too complicated and there are simulated racing games that you can play, but it is not cheap. It costs 500 yen to play racing and rent gloves. Overall, it is worth a visit if you like JDM.
Exceptional experience. English speaking ok. Nice car collection. Excellent car condition.
The unit price is much higher than ordinary car rentals, but how can renting this car compare with a new car? There is a pure manual JDM from the 1990s, this alone is worth it👍
This was truly an amazing experience that I'm so glad I got to tick off my list. The NSX all be it beautiful, was a little slow but still an amazing car to drive for the day. The team are friendly and some have suggestions for beautiful mountain roads. Will definitely be using these guys again upon my return to Japan in future.
It was the most memorable moment of my Osaka trip so far. If you are a car lover, this is it for sure.
we def loved renting the Honda NSX. appreciate the revs were limited so not really experiencing its full power but that was enough for my husband to fully enjoy the experience. The pre-departure videos made it a bit daunting with all the insurance aand penalty stuff but didn't detract from awesome time that was had. :)
The day before our booking, we received a notification that the NSX car we selected cannot be driven due to sudden mechanical failure. We were disappointed, but the replacement car AE86 we chose ended up being so much fun to drive. It had more seats, and Mr Hiro helped us with getting a car seat so we could even take our baby with us. The car studio itself is great place to spend time in, lots to see and do. Thank you, Mr Hiro, for making our Osaka trip a memorable experience!
