- Your guide will explain the Gunditjmara creation story and show the extensive marine and bird life of the lake
- Continue along the western edge of the lake to the weir for a look at the ancient landscape
- Check out the extensive range of stone aquaculture sites and fish traps
- Tours start at either 10:00 or 14:00 and finish back at the Tae Rak Aquaculture Centre & Café

- The 2-hour walk is undertaken in two parts
- The first hour of the tour is at the Aquaculture Centre building, the eel holding tank, and out on the boardwalk over the lake
- This part of the tour is accessible by prams and wheelchairs, and participants with limited mobility
- The second hour of the tour takes you down the western side of the lake, and in parts through long grass, and over uneven ground
- This part of the tour is not suitable for prams or wheelchairs
- For participants with limited mobility, please note that there is no rest areas or seating available during this second hour of the tour
