Reviews
The museum visit is an absolute must! The art was absolutely stunning and the experience was well organized! My only critique was the boat trip. It wasn’t clear in the instructions on the voucher where and which company to go to. No one at the museum knew as well. So we unfortunately did not get to do it :(
It's highly recommended to book your Van Gogh Museum tickets in advance. Once inside the lobby, you can rent an audio guide to gain a deeper understanding of Van Gogh's works. I chose the Chinese audio guide, which featured music alongside the narration, creating a wonderful atmosphere.
The works of Van Gogh are very impressive. The cafe and souvenir shop are nice.
Tickets are sold out on the day, remind you to arrange and book tickets in advance. It takes at least 3-4 hours to get to know and appreciate the paintings and background stories. It is strongly recommended to buy audio guides, which can be more integrated into Van Gogh's paintings.
No tour guide. We went to the Van Gogh Museum at the time we selected. After enjoying the museum, we went to redeem our cruise at our own pace. If you have a ticket, exchanging it is easy. The scenery on the cruise was amazing. However, since it was March, it was extremely cold.
The Van Gogh Museum is a must-visit place. It is very convenient next to the National Museum. The cruise ship is really good and you can see different angles.
The Van Gogh Museum exhibits classic paintings. The museum is a good size and well worth a visit. The tour boat offers explanations in a variety of languages, which is very welcoming.
Audio guides are available for purchase in multiple languages. While it doesn't have famous paintings like Starry Night, it does have Sunflowers and more! The restaurant also has adorable sunflower cakes.
Easy to use and a very worthwhile exhibition to visit! I recommend renting a tour guide to learn more about Van Gogh's background. Transportation is also very convenient, be sure to buy tickets in advance!
It's a very relaxing itinerary. You have your own time to enjoy it. The same goes for the cruise. It's a great experience to have the captain explain some buildings and key canal attractions.
