Kitakyushu Day Trip: Kawachi Fuji Garden & Kokura Castle & Outlet

We loved our day trip to Kokura Castle, the Outlets, and the Wisteria Garden. The castle is beautiful, and the history museum inside is worth it! We bought several items of clothing at the Outlets. The Wisteria Garden was beautiful, but the flowers weren't at their best due to the temperature and the time of year we went. The guide is perfect and tries to the best of her ability to explain and teach you about the place.

Great Itinerary! The tour guide was bubbly and very helpful. I love how we enjoyed the shopping, learned something about the Kokura castle and most especially captivated by the Kawatchi Wisteria. Highly recommend activity! ❤️

Thank you also to our bus driver who did an excellent job. I will definitely be booking with Klook again. We had the perfect weather too. There is a bit of a hike so be prepared to walk uphill for 5 minutes or so

Great itinerary and would definitely recommend visiting. Brief introduction to locations given by the guide but it's mainly self guided which is perfectly fine as Kokura castle itself is a museum. The tour staff are very friendly and approachable and always ready to help and keep the your timing on time. The garden itself is amazing especially if you've never seen anything like it before. The outlet mall is very similar to outlet malls in Australia (in terms of look and prices) I'd personally recommend taking the walking bridge over to the Aeon mall for cheaper and more authentic food as well as shops aside from the typical larger brand names found at the outlet mall

This itinerary balances history and culture (Kokura Castle), shopping (The Outlet Kitakyushu) and natural landscapes (Kawachi Fujien). In about an hour, you can learn about the history related to Kokura Castle and overlook the scenery of Kokura from the Kokura Castle Castle Tower. There are three When the hour was up, we shopped and ate at Outlet, and finally arrived at Hanoi Fuji Garden and stayed for about an hour. Time allocation is appropriate for each location. The itinerary is suitable for travelers who want to go to the Hanoi Fuji Garden without driving themselves, because there is almost no public transportation during holidays, and admission to the Hanoi Fuji Garden requires a reservation, so a day trip is convenient for travelers like us. Wisteria flowers, like cherry blossoms, have a short blooming time, and it sometimes rains during the blooming time of wisteria flowers. However, the weather was sunny during our trip this time, and the wisteria flowers were in full bloom. They were colorful and fragrant everywhere, making people immersed in the sea of flowers.

The tour is really worth the money and time. you can experience the highlight of kitakyushu in 1 day! The local tour provide by klook is very good, Easy go tour. Our singaporean guide Wendy is very helpful and super friendly. omg i miss her already! She help us in taking good photos in best spot and given us a clear information through the trip. She providing us information in 4 languages, chinese, cantonese, english and melayu. we went on 27 april, luckily the weather is great and the flower is in the full bloom. It smells really good along the way, inside the flower tunnel.

If you want a more relaxed paced itinerary, get this tour. During our visit, the wisteria flowers are not in full bloom yet, nevertheless, we still enjoyed the place and the garden.

The itinerary will first go to Kokura Castle, then go to Kawachi Fuji Garden, and finally go to Outlet for lunch and shopping. Unfortunately, it rained on the day we participated. Although we were soaked by the rain, it did not dampen everyone's mood for flower viewing. The only pity is that the outlet only lasts for 2.5 hours, but you can choose to stay and continue shopping instead of taking the bus back to Hakata with the group. I am very grateful to the tour guide Wendy for taking care of me and taking the initiative to take photos that day. She is a Singaporean, so she can speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, and there is no problem in communication.

Although the garden was not in full bloom, we still enjoyed the view and the castle. Recommended!!!!
