SAMA Onsen & Massage in Phuket City

We love the place for its nice esthetics and cleanliness. The staff received us with beautiful smile and very friendly gesture. she gave us clear instructions and they were very prompt on schedule. Our masseuse were very respectful and professional. They did the classical Thai massage which translated to acupressure and some stretching. The only downside is that after our massage the place smelled horrible, I think the staff warmed their dinner and caused the stinky smell.

The place is very aesthetic and comfortable. The scent was amazing, and the atmosphere felt peaceful at the same time. They gave us a form where we could choose which parts of the body we wanted to focus on, which areas we preferred not to be touched, I think this is something different from other places I’ve been to. The Thai massage was done properly, and I could really feel my body becoming lighter and my head feeling better afterward, both of us were very satisfied. After the massage, we enjoyed the onsen bath. The bathhouse was so aesthetic, it honestly felt like being in Japan! The onsen had a lovely vanilla scent. All necessities were provided, including a hair dryer, lotion, cotton pads, etc.. so we could get ready comfortably after the bath. Everything felt so fresh and relaxing. Lastly, we were served complimentary tea and biscuits. Thank you, SAMA Onsen, for such a wonderful experience. I will definitely come back again if I travel to Phuket in the future.

Located a bit outside of Old Town, behind a gas station. The building and interior are beautiful, and the facilities are very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I used the private onsen for an hour, followed by an hour-long aromatherapy massage. It was the first day of my trip, and the massage therapists were excellent, relieving all my fatigue. After the massage, they served warm tea and cookies. I'm very satisfied with this place.

Super relaxing! The thai massage was amazing and really helped ease all the tension. Loved the onsen too — clean, quiet, and so soothing. Great spot to unwind! Overall a great experience! Highly recommend!

Various options were explained simply. The onsen soak is a totally different and nice experience. The massagers are very professional and communicative to adjust to our requirements. would love to attend again.

The massage in this hot spring is really beautiful and full of surprises! The design and furnishings are Japanese-style and the staff are very polite. Everyone who enters the venue needs to remove their shoes outside. After registration, fill out a form in the lobby. You can choose the strength and the parts that need to be strengthened or weakened, and you can also choose your favorite essential oil. . This time I chose the 1-hour hot spring and 1-hour Thai deep massage. A total of 120 minutes of massage package for two people, which is a great value! The environment and atmosphere are very good. The hot spring room is large, the hot spring bucket is large, the water is warm, you can wear a Japanese yukata, and there is a personal dressing room to organize your appearance. After an hour of hot springs, I went to the isolation room for a massage. The masseurs had good gestures and spoke English. After the soak, I felt very relaxed! After the whole process was completed, there were cookies and tea, which felt very good! If I have a chance to come to Phuket next time, I will definitely come here again!

Ist time to try body scrub and it was good. Massage is good too! I enjoyed the private onsen. It was my Ist time trying onsen since I have a tattoo and not allowed in onsens in Japan. The place is very aesthetic too. Took a LOT

forgot to contact them to arrange a date and time for our appointment (my fault 😓) but luckily they had a free room! we waited around 15 mins for them to prepare it and went for the onsen. it was our first time trying an onsen and we were struggling in the hot water hahah but after a while it was very relaxing when we got used to it. the onsen room had all the essential items you needed- hair dryer, cotton pads and even baby powder. i was really impressed! the massage was also great! after the massage, they provided us with tea and biscuits. this whole place is really peaceful and calming, a great way to end our trip ☺️

Very relaxing and satisfying experience. The staffs is helpful and polite. Make sure to call beforehand to book your timing appointment on the day or else they will ask to wait 1-2 hours to let you squeeze in on that day. Other than that, good experience. 10/10 recommend !!!
