I was amazed on my first visit to see the genuine coral on display! It felt so real, like diving into the ocean, and the Great Barrier Reef was beautifully recreated 🌺🌊 What struck me the most was seeing fish that looked like they came straight out of "Finding Nemo" actually swimming around! I was thrilled to meet not only clownfish but also a regal tang that looked just like Dory, as well as other unique and colorful fish 😭💙 The aquarium was cool and quiet, allowing me to take my time and explore, and there were plenty of photo spots 📸 It was a great place to visit, even on a rainy day ☔🐟
Aquarium wasn’t mega big but they’re were tons of exhibits on the two floors. What made the entry fee worth it were the highly informative presentations. we enjoyed the shark and manta ray feeding presentations best.
Booking tickets for the Cairns Aquarium was a breeze! The process was fast, and I received the confirmation almost instantly. Entry was hassle-free—just had to show the voucher, and we were in. Exploring the aquarium was a delightful experience, with fascinating exhibits showcasing the incredible marine life of the region. The information provided was both insightful and engaging, making the visit fun and educational. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Cairns!
very informational and loved listening to the various info sessions they had :) I’m glad I went before my Great Barrier Reef experience. saw many of the fish I learned about!
the aquarium was pretty big and I’ve learn to appreciate the ocean more! there were not only sea creatures from the ocean but there’s a section about mangrove animals too.
The staffs are very accomodating, accomodating and friendly. And the views of the sea creatures inside the aquarium is amazing.
