Reviews
Overall, I really enjoyed the Sagano Romantic Train, the view was breathtaking. The visit to the Arashimaya Bamboo Forest is self-paced so I can take my own sweet time taking video and photos before heading to the train ride. I think it’s a great tour and the tour guide was friendly and helpful. If there’s a room for improvement, perhaps in Klook, the name of the tour operator should be mentioned clearly in the advertised tour. This is because when I asked chat support, they weren’t able to provide me with the name and asked me to wait near Kyoto Avanti bus stop. However, the bus actually waited in a different area 😅 so it seems like I was late when I was waiting based from the photo provided in the package. I think if this can be rectified, the experience could be further enhanced.
Although the weather is relatively cold, it is very worthwhile to rush to take the Sano Train after lunch. There are red leaves along the way. Then we go to Kiyomizudera Temple, which is packed with people.
Abit on the rushed side for the whole trip. Guides are great and patient. Train ride was not very romantic.
Our guide, Maki-san, has been very attentive to the needs of everyone. Everything moved on seamlessly even with a big group that Maki-san had to look after. Kudos to Limon for such a wonderful experience.
Just wait in the meeting point & the staff from Limon will come to accompany you in the bus. Highly recommended day trip in Kyoto. Thank you very much.
It's my first time to participate. I think the service and attitude are better than expected. I will buy again next time.
The bus and guides were all in bright yellow which made it less likely to lose them in the crowd. They were all so very friendly as well. It would have been great if there were explanations done during each trip. Mostly we were just taken to each tourist spot, walked through the route, and then hurried to the next spot. We didn't have much time to take photos or appreciate fhe views. I wouldn't recommend taking the buffet lunch option since the food was a little bland. Unless you're really hungry, you would be better off heading straight to the market street and just buying small snacks here and there
Hassle free tour group; relaxed and able to admisre the nice scenery; Overall verr nice experience
I don't know if it is a communication problem. I originally ordered beef shabu-shabu, but the tour guide arranged for me to serve a Japanese meal. Later, I found out that I made a mistake, but I finished it all. The half-day tour is not too rushed. However, in the bamboo forest part, you have to go all the way by yourself, and the tour guide will take a short break to take pictures during the period. Then go to the station of the small train and wait for boarding. Because apart from the group members in the group, there are other tourists who will take the car together, so there are more people, and you can't choose a seat. If you want to take pictures near the window, it depends on your luck. Then visit Kiyomizu Temple. The tour guide is Japanese, but also speaks English. The half-day tour schedule is not too rushed, and it is acceptable.
It was a fun trip. It was seamless and well organized.
